Came here to vote for dark mode as well. I know it's probably quite a bit of work on the back end but it seems like a much more basic building block compared to animated glowing roll-able dice. Please, please, dark mode.
I know this is beating a dead horse but I’d also love one. Dark Mode is better for me personally due to some light sensitivity. When using D&D Beyond I have to turn my brightness down all the way most of the time.
If anyone out there is using Firefox like me... I found a plugin called "Dark Reader". It appears to be exactly what I was looking for as a Night Mode or Dark Theme for DND Beyond.
The character sheet looks great... and you can adjust brightness and add it to your 'active site' list.
I'll continue to update it as I run into things. You're welcome to edit and share it however you please. Example below with more examples in the link.
Hey, this is great, Jay_Lane! I set the background color to rgb(20, 27, 32), and it starts to look a lot like the official dark mode preview. With a couple more tweaks:
Hi Jay! I love your theme, I've been using it for a while now and it's so great. Thank you for sharing this!
Since you said you're updating it as you run into things, I wanted to share something I found with you. If you put a monitor into portrait mode, D&D Beyond shoves the sheet into a tabbed mobile looking version of itself, and some pages have a large white bar at the bottom. Not a deal breaker for me, but wanted to let you know if you were still updating the project:

I just put up an update that should resolve this for you. I'll try and make sure it didn't effect anything else. I never use my monitor in portrait mode and never thought to check. Thank you for the feedback :)

You're a godsend Jay! It seems to fix the bar and everything else on the sheet still works just fine! (I didn't update the style for the rest of the site, just the sheet.)
Stylus (on chrome) threw an error though, missing comma on line 547. I tried it both with and without and it didn't seem to make a difference, but wanted to let you know.
Thanks for keeping this project alive! It's super appreciated!
The easiest way, which most "darkmodes" are is just to invert the colors. This is an insanely easy toggle that could be easily added to the app.
It would of course require some testing to ensure that weird things don't happen, but the appm is like 5 years old now. Its absurd that this isn't a priority, but digital dice are...

Thanks for this Tried it and it works a treat
I would definitely use this. at this point if a site doesn't have a dark mode i consider it inferior and seek to close it asap for my eyes sake.

Please please please, I want to play d&d with my friends in the evening without getting a migraine!
Adding to the request for Dark Mode please!
I really need this so please add a darkmode.

I'm so glad I found it.
Don't worry... I'm not wearing any pants.
+1 for dark mode.
Or maybe even a ‘soft color’ mode if it’d be easier to just shade things slightly yellow instead of doing it all reverse.
Anything to help my eyes when in a dark room.

Yes, please. Dark Mode is an accessibility option these days. Please include.

I'm using browser add-ons, too. It's so inelegant and causes problems with other websites... Native is the only way to go on stuff like this.
