This post is meant to consolidate feedback for adventures that could apply to all of the adventures equally.
Things like, "add a next chapter button" and "add updated enemies that have some base class modifications" could be posted here because those are things that could be beneficial to all of the adventures equally.
Things that should *not* be posted here are things like, "this monster was too difficult", "can there be more opportunities to track down and interrogate cultists in the tyranny of dragons campaign?". We're not trying to improve each individual module or campaign. Much of that could be done by your DM. We ARE trying to improve how these Adventures appear on the website and how user friendly they are to us as we explore the Forgotten Realms.
My recommendation would be to clarify what is considered "Boxed Text".
In most adventures there is boxed text with a highlighted background meant to show DM's at a glance what is allowed to be (ignored or) read aloud to the players. I've noticed in the current versions showing on DNDB, that the boxed text is here, however it is NOT clear that it is boxed text.
I know some DM's didn't care for it and others, such as myself, thoroughly enjoyed that. Maybe we could get center aligned paragraphs in all italics instead of boxed text? Is there a way to bring back the boxed text?
Thanks!
EDIT: Thanks to bmfrosty for the inspiration for this post!
Thanks for this post. More general, and probably better than mine earlier.
Your post was in fact the inspiration for it! I figure the better we consolidate our feedback, the easier it will be to pull information from and implement some quality suggestions. This way it also removes the issue of searching for "that one suggestion for page 89 of that one book about that one thing." Now this should make all of the adventures better across the board when using them on DNDB!
For the sections in each adventure that cover a specific location that has a map, I would love it if the map for that locations would be pinned in the side bar so it can be easily referenced while scrolling through the rest of the section. In addition, it would be great if, for those maps that have labeled areas, we could click on the image and it would take us to the description of the area we click on. I think these two features would make navigating an adventure tremendously easier for the DM.
Also, I've noticed some images on the site allow you to zoom the pic, but all of the images I've tried in adventures do not. Some of the maps wind up being just way too small if I'm viewing on a phone, would be nice to see them in full size or bigger:)
Also, maybe some things that make it easier to navigate; bookmarks, return to top button, collapsible sections, more detailed table of contents link. Just some ideas, thanks!

Agreed with Tomedunn! Great idea!
