I suspect this will never happen as it will cannibalize sales of their existing spell cards ... but it would be great and add real value to Beyond.
There is precedent for this. The same thing happened with 4th edition. GF9 or some other company made a ton of power cards, then when the digital tools came out WOTC included item and power cards in the character sheets.
I already own all of the spell cards currently available, but I'd much rather have them included on the application.
Another vote for printing abilities across the board - just like printing a character you just created be great to print off items, weapons, armor, spells, etc. so the player has all the details.

I encourage my players to adopt the D&D 5 spell book cards app for android. I use the app for tracking NPC spells and available slots. Would love to have that kind of integration here in phase 2.
Agree on the ability to print cards, including for the monsters. Or even the ability to create a printable page of various monsters, to limit the shuffling. This would help with multiple monsters in a similar space or different monsters in nearby rooms/areas.
Integrate something similar to https://github.com/crobi/rpg-cards for printing out sets of cards from the items. Pretty sure its compatible with SRD license?
I use this for printing out card sheets for my players all the time. I'd be so sweet to be able to generate sheets of cards like these for all of the items that you have entered in the items list without having to enter the data in the tool. The license is MIT on the library in github.
This would be nice but I kind of prefer that printable stuff be left to us. Otherwise, WotC does use Gale Force 9 for stuff like spell cards! :)
I'm completely for this as well! I run a campaign with kids (age 9-14) and they LOVE the cards. So much so in fact, that I spend most of my prep time creating cards for weapons, armor, scrolls, potions of healing, etc found in chests and on defeated NPCs. During the game they lay out all their "stash" and flip over spells as they use them to keep track of what is available during battle. They love having the visuals and it makes the prep time worth it. Having them already available to be printed via DnDB sounds like a winner to me.
I could go on for hours on the plus side for printable, especially cards, but I'll spare the thread and just say YES.
YES, printable card format for character sheets, spells, magic items (especially magic items), and even monsters.
I love hands on, old-school pen-n-paper options. For players, I hand out unique spell cards, magic item cards that players have identified and know how to use, and as a DM I utilize monster cards (though an adventure list option in D&D Beyond tools might eliminate the need for monster cards). Adventure List, meaning creating a short list of monsters to quickly reference while DM'ing an adventure.

I absolutely LOVE this idea, especially if there is an option to make edits and print them off yourself so you can create homebrew items (for instance, one of my players has a +1 silvered short sword that looks like it's made out of wood and they named it Moon Moon - would be nice to give her a physical card with its info), powers, etc.. As much as I am a die hard pen and paper person when it comes to my in-person playing, I find that the space available to explain abilities, powers, and special features are way too small. I've actually created expanded character sheets (in the spirit of the 3.5 expanded sheets) specifically to accommodate this, but most of my players think expanded sheets are cumbersome. Having printable cards for quick, easy reference would be fantastic.
Spell cards are made by a different company than D&D Beyond. It may cannibalize sales, but not from the same company, so (so long as their license allows it) there's no reason for them not to, aside from time/etc.
And yes, I definitely want printables. I use them a lot at my game table, and would love to be able to use a slightly more intuitive interface, plus have all of the RAW cards available.
Printable cards for monsters also work, though I find 3x5 cards better than playing-card size for them.
Camping and DnD, NICE!
DnD on a Catamaran in the Whitsundays, QLD during a storm so we couldn't leave the bay we were in, absolute best way to sit it out!!

That's good to hear!
So what your say is.... there's a chance!
