There is no reference to creature or lair loot in any of the reference materials currently available. I'm not sure if that is because it is not in the SRD but that is something useful to have. Something that is linked with the monster or a reference for the DM to make it easier for the loot to be rolled up.
I could see something like a pop-out for treasure based on the creature which links to the treasure table in the DM Guide (Page 136) based on the monster's challenge rating.
Right now the only reference to loot is how to attune to magical items and their usage. While the 'Coin' section just talks about the value of the coins and the exchange between types of coins.
Ideally it would almost be nice to allow the ability to generate loot from a defeated monster (or lair) with a click.

I would expect this in phase 3 when they add campaign management. But I like your ideas.
Agree! Having a button you click that generates loot would be awesome.
Even to the point of having a small chance to drop better stuff. I know I know you could just keep clicking till you get something besides "art pieces" but hey, during a game, if you are letting a player press the button really brings that mystery into it. Especially when you know the DM doesn't even know what it is. And even more exciting is if there is a small chance to get something rare.

That's the kind of stuff I'm excited to find out about phase 3 because I love making and adding stuff to my custom world and I always find rolling loot takes so much time. Being able to roll up an encounter then based on the challenge rating immediately roll random loot would stream line the game so much.

I agree, it would be great to have a loot generator set in place based on what's on the DM Guide Pg.136 and also be able to add your own created item within that loot so you may be able to keep a record of it.
I never even thought of that an item creation section for customizing gear then add it to the "loot" table for random rolling. I always give my players custom gear I feel it makes the game feel more diverse than just getting the same overused items.
