and just put it as common since most common weapons arent magical. ontop of that I just tested this, with an existing base weapon, and it didnt show the magical property at all

Would there be a way to add them in with homebrewing? All I have found is full on magic items.

There's no way I know of to homebrew a non-magic item. It's much easier to homebrew a magic item and label it as non-magical in its description.
you can go to homebrew and create a magic weapon,
and just put it as common since most common weapons arent magical.
