I just can't decide what class to pick. They look all so awesome, aargh. My party consists of: A sword bard, a war cleric and an assassin rogue. Which class would compliment this party? I thought of maybe a lore bard or a wizard? I don't know.
The party is magic light a little bit and the Cleric appears to be your intended tank. I built a rather interesting Eldrich Knight Fighter I look forward to playing one day. Offers a solid tank as all the Fighter bases do and as you progress you'll open up Wizard spells to help supplement the party, or if you're not missing the magic, seriously boost his/her damage output.
Other ideas could be a divine soul Sorcerer, to again supplement healing/buffing to split the load with the Cleric, as well as a fair variety of magical options. Wizard, IMO, the party MAY have trouble keeping you out of harm's way.
An important bit to keep in mind is to pick something YOU want to play or be and trust your DM to balance the adventure. I am in one group that has 2 good tanks, a skirmisher (Monk - me) and a Cleric. No "magic" of the arcane variety at our disposal, no "face" for the socials and a little scant on skills (stealth, slight of hand, socials for example) Our DM there has worked the campaign that our biggest hurdles are the fights we get into, with the other stuff slightly dumbed down, to allow for our lack of other things. I DM a group that has a Paladin, Wizard, Rogue and Ranger. I see the dynamic as quite different and thus, there are more challenges that rely on some arcane magic, or social interactions or skill monkey stuff, keeping everyone's abilities important. Trusting the DM to help the adventure fit the party usually works well as long as it's a decent DM. Pick your dreams and jump in with faith that it will all work out in the end!

It sounds like the characters are all at least L3 as they have subclasses. You might consider a multi class ( if you are brand new I don’t actually recommend this) something like a ranger/sorcerer will give you and your party both some extra fighting and some extra magic as well as a possible touch of extra healing. If you make use of ranger use the Tasha’s options.
Honestly, anything you want to play will be valuable to this party - they got two sources of healing, both being more melee oriented and focused on two different stats, and the assassin provides good damage and OOC utility.
Just avoid to double down on the same classes. My preferred picks would be: Moon Druid, Divination Wizard or Vengeance Paladin.

Wisea$$ DM and Player since 1979.
You got two full casters, and a rogue. You could use a strong melee frontliner. Fighter, barbarian, or paladin.
