Is there any way to make the sheets in my campaign roll 2d10 for all checks, instead of 1d20?
I want to run the game where abilities and skills have greater weight as compared to randomness.
We're all already aware of the debates on why 2d10 does this more than 1d20, and on whether it's more fun to take the swings of fortune as storytelling opportunities, etc., and I'm not looking to have that conversation again here (though it's an interesting one). Is there a technical way to achieve this on DnDBeyond, or are settings like that fixed?
Yup, not too difficult to roll 2d10 on our own, just handy to have the built-in addition of bonuses from the site.
An important functionality for OneD&D would be the possibility of variations like this, even if they're advanced features that don't pop up for most users. If they really want to make the platform fit most of the players, it needs to accommodate how much homebrew we all do.

dndbeyond won't support anything that isn't an official published option - and doesn't always support all of those either.
A generic VTT has more chance of being customised for variations to the dice rolls.

The site does not have a setting that would accommodate this.
We used to just make charts for the conversion to d100. Its not hard.
