One thing to consider for a Kaiju-themed campaign: have the party need to hunt down the five (or however many party members there are) keys that can be used to summon and control a Warforged Colossus. Ranger levels not required.

Find your own truth, choose your enemies carefully, and never deal with a dragon.
"Canon" is what's factual to D&D lore. "Cannon" is what you're going to be shot with if you keep getting the word wrong.

So... The Walking Colossus, but as a Yeager?

Active characters:
Carric Aquissar, elven wannabe artist in his deconstructionist period (Archfey warlock) Lan Kidogo, mapach archaeologist and treasure hunter (Knowledge cleric) Mardan Ferres, elven private investigator obsessed with that one unsolved murder (Assassin rogue) Xhekhetiel, halfling survivor of a Betrayer Gods cult (Runechild sorcerer/fighter)
3e had an epic level monster called genius loci (latin for "spirit of the place"), which was a sentient landmass. The epic level handbook, as I mentioned, had a number of leviathanesque monsters called abominations that were all unwanted offspring of various gods.

Not a classic D&D monster by any means, but you know you have to get the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man in somehow.
