Not really sure where to post this on the forum, so apologies if it goes somewhere else. I'm looking for how to give another player an item I have. Our entire group is new to DND beyond, and almost all of us are new to DND period. We haven't found the way to trade items in DNDbyeond yet. Last time we exchanged items, we each had to delete the item on the other person had to go find that item and add it to their inventory. Which is tedious and annoying, but works for some things. But now we're about to send the rogue to break into a place and I need to give him a bag of holding that already has a bunch of items in it. Deleting this and rebuilding it would be a nightmare. Would anyone be able to walk me through how to give someone an item?

Unfortunately that’s the only way to do it I believe.
I just ran into this issue playing an artificer. I would really like to be able to "send" the Mind Sharpener armor to another character so I dont have to keep track of it for them or go through the trouble of making a homebrew item.

You can do it without creating a homebrew item for artificer infusions. you can edit/customize items items in the character sheets directly. Like a created a +1 armor for another player. I edited the items the feature gave into my inventory to have 0 weight, and renamed it to "xxx's armor", meanwhile the other player edited their AC and gave it a +1 bonus.
A bit tedious like not being able to give items to other players, but no need to homebrew items.
It is. This shouldn't be a hard thing to implement in the game, and would make it easier to run things for the players. I'm surprised this isn't something they are working on.

Crazy this isn't a thing yet.
I just want to make a letter with the text in the description and hand it to a PC, I guess that's a no go?
