Throwing a longsword for instance is consider a improvised weapon attack and works with the new brawler fighter with throw weapon fighting style? Give tips for a throw weapon brawler fighter build
Wow, i've played FFTA and another ninja still is dual wielder, which in dnd will give bonus AC.But the idea of trading GP into copper and have an infinite ammo is awesome.
Keep in mind that a GM is free to rule that some objects can't be used as improvised weapons. With a standard D&D coin weighing one third of an ounce according to the PHB, that's likely to be viewed as insufficient to actually cause injury when thrown by a human (or elf, or gnome...) hand.

"Canon" is what's factual to D&D lore. "Cannon" is what you're going to be shot with if you keep getting the word wrong.
Like in fft a coin purse can be tossed, but 12 CP wheights as much as dart (which cost 5 CP). More reliable is throw rock collected along the wayAs in fft, a coin purse can be thrown, but 12 CP weighs as much as a dart (which costs 5 CP). More reasonable is to throw stones collected along the way. but what I was thinking initially was a build with throwing war hammers, running to shoving or using maneuvers to have a quick toss or pushing attack from the martial adept feat. Or running with disarming attack instead pushing attack to throw away the enemy weapon into another creature (sharpshooter fits well). I think has a lot of flavor here or am I dreaming?

This is true, but how much is a ball bearing?
Rule of cool plus you're literally throwing money away, (give him a d4 and 1 attack, or let him throw a bunch and each one is just a single point of damage and roll a crap ton of d20's just to let the chaos ensue)
I'd probably make a ruling of some sort just to make it work, but yeah, talk to your DM.
Unfortunately there's just no rules as of yet for this sort of thing.

Stones are definitely another thing, but the thing with actual weapons that just lack the thrown text, is where are you going to get enough of the damned weapons?
You might be able to.disarm.some guards and toss them, but then what? Ball bearings and stones are definitely where the bulk of your throwables will be... unless it's an urban setting in which case... whooooooo boy..... you.can literally throw the kitchen sink.* XD
*Provided the dm allows it and you have the strength to back it up.
You can throw shield and be captain america, with two shields if you want. This build is for fun. Throw a hashi or a spoon and disarm your enemy or knocking them prone if you pick trip instead is clearly just for fun. Because you can always be a battlemaster with archeary and throw darts to do almost the same with less flavor (unless you can be Haku from Naruto throwing needles)

You can force the caster to drop their spellcasting focus. Throw it up to 60 feet, into a tree or river, or damage another enemy so far away that the caster can't recover the focus, no more fireballs for a while.

Oh even better...
Did you ever play FF6 or I believe FF5? Do you remember the characters that threw coins? Or FF Tactics, with the ninja class?
Or if you want to be creative, Gambit from the X-Men...
