Page 283 of the DMG gives advice and rules about adding classes to monsters.
Edit: I just now realized you meant as an integrated option for DDB, not just as an "in general" method. I don't think there's a tool for that, but you could always write it up using the DMG rules, and just create it as a homebrew monster. I realize that it would be more convenient if there was just a "add class levels to existing monster" button or the like, but you can still totally do it the long way.
There hasn’t been much talk on the campaign mmanagement and DM tools front for DDB in awhile. I am really hoping we’ll get a full featured monster builder at some point that will autocalculate Offensive Rating, Defensive Rating, and CR based on the options selected (e.g. monster traits, actions/reactions, class levels, stats, etc). Homebrew traits, actions, and reactions would be fantastic as well.
It's now April of 2020, locked inside during Covid-19 Stay at Home order. And I'm still wondering about this. Instead of pen and papering my way through adding class levels to a monster, I was hoping I might be able to just quickly do it in the Homebrew sections. Any Admin have some updates on this?
Hey folks - thread necromancy is a real threat (can you imagine if we got a zombie epidemic now?). We do have a feature roadmap that you can see upcoming items that are being worked upon.

Is there a way to add class levels to a homebrew monster? If not, is that feature planned?
Could you home brew a monster as a race then give them class levels like a normal character?
By the way add me to the list who would like to see the ability to add classes to monsters as lots of monsters may have levels in a class .

I made a thread that shows which monsters have abilities that seem to correspond to class abilities. You could pull from some of these.
