so he is a buff no armor wearing helpfully guy who carries around a vault door as a shield and punchs things that get in the way or hit them with the shield.
Try to find some way to get the most out of the shield and his fists ?
Buff? Unarmored? Uses a shield? Punches things? Sounds like you want a Barbarian.
Buff comes naturally-- almost all Barbarians have high Strength and Constitution scores. Unarmored is easy, too, since Barbarians have Unarmored Defense, which lets them add their Constitution modifiers to their AC while unarmored. Additionally, Barbarian's version of Unarmored Defense works well with a shield.
Punching things comes a bit less naturally to Barbarians, but there are a couple ways you could make them more effective in that area. You could pick up the Tavern Brawler feat, which lets your unarmed strikes do 1d4 damage, lets you grapple as a bonus action, and has an extra bonus of making using improvised weapons (which is what shields would be) more effective. You could also take a level in Fighter, which would grant you a Fighting Style. There's a Fighting Style that was added in Tasha's Cauldron of Everything called Unarmed Fighting that lets you deal 1d6 damage with your unarmed strikes and deal 1d4 damage each round while you're grappling somebody.
You could also become more effective at using a shield by picking up the Shield Master feat, which lets you shove with your shield as a bonus action, among other things.

Look at what you've done. You spoiled it. You have nobody to blame but yourself. Go sit and think about your actions.
Don't be mean. Rudeness is a vicious cycle, and it has to stop somewhere. Exceptions for things that are funny. Go to the current Competition of the Finest 'Brews! It's a cool place where cool people make cool things.

Depending on the level you start at and how your stats are, you could take the Fighting Initiate feat from Tasha's instead of dipping Fighter- although one or two levels of Fighter is a decent dip for Barbarians.
Thanks family that's wat I was thinking of doing I was just thinking what to do against enemies who only take damage from magical effects, like they r immune to physical damage or something.

I wouldn't personally recommend Fighting Initiate, it's always seemed like a pretty minor boost for the price of a feat. Tavern Brawler gives you pretty much the same stuff and some additional stuff as well, all at the cost of a very slight decrease in damage, which is basically made up for by the Strength boost (or Constitution, if you prefer).

If you get yourself a magic shield, using it as an improvised weapon should be able to overcome monsters like that. Of course, if you're going to use an improvised weapon, that's another point for Tavern Brawler. Other than that, I suppose there are Wraps of Unarmed Prowess and a couple other items you might find that would make your unarmed strikes magical, although I'd wager those items are less common than magical shields.

Compared to a 1 level Fighter dip? It's not a super efficient use of an ASI, but it maintains class progression if the player cares about that and the only other thing 1 level of Fighter gives is Second Wind, and 1d10+1 healing as a bonus action per SR is not exactly a game-changer, particularly since it's easy to forget about on a dip.
Edit: Plus the grapple damage on the Fighting Style makes the thing lots of people want to do when playing unarmed actually good for something.
I don't know much about the character, but Cavalier, Champion, and Battle Master all seem like they might be able to fit, were you to take a 3 level dip.

There are two main options for that: one is the Path of the Beast barbarian subclass, which lets you grow claws, fangs, or a barbed tail that you can attack with while raging. After a few levels, your unarmed attacks are treated as magical for the purposes of overcoming resistance or immunity to damage. The other is that there are a few magic items from recent books that let you treat unarmed attacks as if they're magic, most noteably the Eldritch Claw Tattoo. You'd need to talk to your GM about that, since magic items are typically not available for purchase in most 5E games so you'd need to figure out how to get one of them.

Find your own truth, choose your enemies carefully, and never deal with a dragon.
"Canon" is what's factual to D&D lore. "Cannon" is what you're going to be shot with if you keep getting the word wrong.
1. Winter Bite - Braum fires ice at a target, which slows the target down if it hits ("Ray of Frost" cantrip).
2. Unbreakable - Braum reduces the amount of physical damage he can take ("Blade Ward" cantrip).
3. Glacial Fissure - Braum slams his shield on the ground, which opens up a crack in the ground, shaking up anyone nearby ("Earth Tremor" spell).
4. Concussive Blows - Braum savagely and viciously attacks his foes ("Rage" feature).
5. Stand Behind Me - Braum moves between his teammates and threats to them to force the threat to face him instead of his teammates ("Unarmored Defense" feature and bonus from shield).

If I take a big 3 dip in fighter which sub would help the image of braum. Out more or should I even go 3 dip in ?
