It has been a while since I purchased anything new on D&D Beyond, and am wondering if I just don't know where to find something, or if it has been removed completely.
Previously, if I wanted to buy a single thing (such as an item, playable race, monster, etc.), then it would cost me a few dollars. Much less than the $30+ cost of an entire book if I just wanted the one little thing. The policy was that if you were to eventually spend what the book cost, buying individual items, then everything else would be unlocked related to that book.
Just now, I was looking to buy a playable race, but it looks like I can't just buy the race anymore; I have to buy the whole book. Is this a change? If not, where do I go to pay the $2-$5 for the single playable race I'm looking for?

Take a look here, it is the "official" place to tell them how you like the changes done in the dead of night with no announcement until after the fact.
New pricing policy, pain for DM, no solution for players.
If you are a DM and you have the book for content, homebrew it problem solved. Depending on how much you have to do, it may or may not be worth spending for the digital content. When I was using DnD Beyond years ago, creating homebrew and using it wasn't that hard to do. I'm willing to bet eBay would have the content you want for less than DnD Beyond is selling. You might not be able to buy individually but you can create individually from the books you have.
Sorry if this thread should be elsewhere.
