I was wondering what you intend to do with all the current adventures you have? Will they be updated to 2024 rules and if so will the updates be free to the people who have bought them? Also will they still exist in their current 2014 form? The reason I ask is because I currently run 2 campaigns both using WOTC created adventures, but I do not want to change the rules in the middle of them.
The intention, the D&D developers have stated, with the 2024 update is that the pre-2024 5e adventures should still work with the 2024 core rulebooks. A DM might choose to tweak some of the encounters for balance, but that was sometimes the case anyway.
It is extremely likely that all the monster, spell, and item links in older material will point to the 2014 versions, and if you want to use the 2024 ones instead, you'll have to manage it by hand.

The adventures are not going to be updated or converted. That would cost too much money. Your DM would just need to make conversions where they are need to play with the 2014 rules.
It's not hard. It's no different than when people did it for 2e from 1e and 3.5e from 3e.
The 2024 Monster Manual includes all the same monsters as the 2014 rules, but with updated stat blocks to represent the same CR for the new power balance. This could potential make the encounters more balanced than the original modules. However, the occasional super high CR monster in a low level area could go from tough fight to TPK. Updates to the specific NPCs and monsters from individual modules probably isn't going to happen.
Personally I'm finishing all current campaigns using 2014 rules. But I do plan to run some of the old modules with new campaigns using the 2024 rules. Maybe we should add a thread fro each module in the DM forum with suggestions on how to convert. This would be a huge help for DMs who are less comfortable in creating their own encounters and balance. Or who don't want to throw something overpowered at PCs who expect to curb stomp every encounter.

Thanks for that info, puts my mind at ease for the moment.

I believe the new MM has removed certain humanoids. I noticed that drow are no longer in it. Idk about githyankis or others
