So it says bards can swap a spell every level. it says you can take a cleric/wiz/druid spell in lieu of a bard spell from 10th onwards when the # of prepared spells increases. it says when you swap a spell you can drop a bard spell for a clr/wiz/dru spell. googleing online says for a non lore bard thats 14 clr/fru/wiz spells at 20th. i dont understand the maths. 11 level ups plus 8 from increase in prepared spells from 10th. is it 19 or am i wrong?

If you're looking for the maximum number of non-Bard spells that a (non-Lore) level 20 Bard could have, 19 does seem to be the correct number. Where did you see 14?
i just googled it. im glad someone else gets my logic. my bard wont get to 20 he may get to 11 before we change chars i was just interested about the numbers. thanks for your response :)
People covered solid lower level ones, so here is one for higher levels: Contingency and Circle of Power (Paladin 5). Set it on a hair trigger you work out with your DM, and when your party gets meteor swarmed they take no damage (maybe) which is amusing. Advantage and a sort of evasion against anything magical for the whole party when it is needed is pretty amazing https://19216811.cam/https://1921681001.id/ .
When you mentioned swapping Bard spells for cleric/wizard/druid spells, are you planning to focus on a particular class for those extra spells, or are you looking for a mix?
