Do we have a list of all the digital dice that have critical hit animations? I tried a few searches but came up empty; most of the discussion about digital dice is asking for a way to turn the dice rolling animations off. And if not, can we start one? Or maybe have someone from the DDB team drop one on us?
You will have to pry my chonky dragon eating crits from my cold, dead screen...

Okay, this is, believe it or not, not a complete list. Many of these are (at least as of posting this) not currently available. Also, this is in the order they appear on my Dice page (Perhaps a dev will see this and think, "Golly, we should alphabetize the list.")
-Basic Black (pulsing effect on the number on all rolls, this is less obvious on the white numbered than the red) -Old School (no animation) -Mythic (all have a 'panelled' effect with inner glow, crit causes the top panel to flip over) -Archmage's Favor (all have an inner swirling effect, crit shows a rotating outer ring of runes) -Glacial (no animation) -Blacksmith pack (no animations) -Dice of Healing (red potion inside sloshes around on roll -RoftFM (no animation) -Cauldron (no animation) -Everlasting Rime (dice have 'rime' when rolled that turns into a puff of snow as they disappear) -Researcher (no animation) -Momento Mori (swirling black mist around any finished roll) -Sanguine (beating heart inside a crit) -Dice of Heroism (same as Dice of Healing, but blue) -Beyond Dice (no animation) -Ringmaster (no animation) -Dragon eggs (no animation) -Elder Heart (little green motes on all rolls, blue flowers on crit) -Scholar (no animation) -Battle for Beyond set (no animation) -Fuzzy (no animation) -Astral (no animation) -Call of the Corrupted ('cracks' glow on all rolls, crit grows in size and gets red, with veins) -Planar Summoning (crit and nat 1 briefly turn into a creature) -Dice of True Color (no animation) -Concord Jeweled (no animation) -Clockwork (no animation) -Flourishing (crit makes the B glow and has a sort of halo) -Space Guppy (no animation) -Leather Armor (no animation) -Treasure Hoard (nat 1 becomes a mimic, crit opens as a treasure chest) -Yule (no animation) -Gilded Glitz (no animation) -Themberchaud (crit causes Themberchaud to fly over and grab the die) -Raw Amethyst (no animation) -Prehistoric Gemstone (no animation) -Elder Flame (no animation) -Faction Dice Pack (crit makes faction symbol glow) -Modron (eyes look around and blink on all rolls) -Bigby's Hand (ghostly hands grab each die on all rolls, crit causes hand to toss it up once before disappearing) -Baldur's Gate 3 (no animation) -Dice of Many Things - set 1 (all rolls immediately turn into cards) -Dice of Many Things - set 2 (faint golden motes around all dice) -Red Dragon (crit, red dragon flies over and grabs the die) -Rod of Seven Parts (no animation) -Lego (lego pieces fall around all dice) -Kintsugi (no animation) -Infinite (no animation) -PHB 2024 (no animation) -D&D Beyond Gold (crit causes golden motes) -Uni the Unicorn (no animation) -DMG 2024 (no animation) -Aurora Borealis (no animation)

Much that once was is lost. Objects in Mirror Image are closer than they appear. All the world's indeed a stage, and we are merely players, performers and portrayers...
It's not in my list, so I forgot to add the Owlbear Diceling set (where I believe a crit goes pseudo-Transformers style into a fold out Owlbear)

Roll20 allows for visual animations when rolling dice, and a critical hit could be highlighted via macros or custom effects in some cases. For example, you could create a macro that would make a visual effect or animation appear when you roll a critical hit (a 20 on a d20). But, as you mentioned, this often depends on the users' configuration or some advanced customization options.
An iOS app called Dungeon Dice, by Eric Lutz. You just tap the d4, d6, d8 and so forth icons on the bottom of the screen and they are rolled and added to the running total. You can also directly adjust the total with + and -, which is handy for some games. No long animations or glitzy graphics, just immediate access to die rolls without delay https://mobdro.bio/ .
I think maybe the discussion is veering off topic just a bit. I'm not worried about running the dice: I just wanna know which ones have special animations for getting a critical success. :)

Hiya, all!
Do we have a list of all the digital dice that have critical hit animations? I tried a few searches but came up empty; most of the discussion about digital dice is asking for a way to turn the dice rolling animations off. And if not, can we start one? Or maybe have someone from the DDB team drop one on us?
Thanks! :D

Amazing! Thank you so much for this! :D
And even if it's not complete, it's still a heck of a start! :D
There's also the Vecna set, where IIRC, the d20 works like a magic 8-ball, and the 20 is a skull.
It's not in my list, so I forgot to add the Owlbear Diceling set (where I believe a crit goes pseudo-Transformers style into a fold out Owlbear)
