Hello all, I was just wondering if anyone has some tips on how I might speed up my fighter's 4 attacks. I have dual weapon, so I have one warhammer that is magical which also does an additional 2d6 fire damage, and one regular warhammer. While I know I could technically make 3 attacks with the magical weapon, then the last bonus attack with the non-magical I find that for me that seems a tad over-powered (Though I could still use it if I needed the extra power/damage). So while it doesn't take me too long, it just FEELS like it takes forever. I hit the Attack button for the first attack (magical) then hit the damage (if it hits) then scroll down to where I added a custom dice roll to do the 2d6 fire damage, but the scrolling is awkward, because then I have to scroll back up to do the next 2nd attack (magical) and again scroll back down to the fire damage... etc... I wish DnD Beyond offered the option to really roll multiple dice at once (with the modifiers) - but to my knowledge this isn't possible.
I'll answer my own question here, but obviously still open to other ideas! I just was messing around and learned two things. 1) At the near top of the attack/dice box where it shows all the actions you can take, I saw the "Attack" Tab which just shows me the weapon attacks and also the custom 2d6 I made for the fire damage all at once, so this will help me not having to scroll up and down each time. 2) I'm not sure I like this yet, but I'll try it... I can roll "with advantage. DnD Beyond will do the math for the highest dice rolled, but It leaves me doing the math for the lowest die rolled. I think I can handle this, but it's not ideal as I sometimes make dumb mistakes.
You may want to only do the latter for initial attacks against bigger foes or against the last one standing. You are generally allowed to know if your first attack takes something out before you make your next attack and rolling both at once when something is one hit away from death (understanding that you don't know that) would be a waste.

You are dual wielding Warhammers? I need to read the rules more. I thought one had to be with the light property?

The Light property lets you make an additional attack as a bonus action if you're wielding two Light weapons.
There's nothing stopping you from wielding two one-handed non-Light weapons at the same time; you just don't get that extra bonus action attack if you do that. If (as in this example) you can make more than one attack with an Attack action, you can make those attacks with different weapons you're holding if you want. You might choose to do this if the two weapons had different mastery properties, different magical effects, etc.
I must say that the lack of proper macros is a significant weakness with the D&D Beyond character sheet. For example, on roll20, you could just tell it that it's an attack with +X to hit doing 1d8+Y bludgeoning and 2d6 fire, and it will
Roll to hit, twice (it is assumed that people can figure out whether advantage or disadvantage applies)
Roll 1d8+Y and show it as bludgeoning damage. If either roll was a crit, it will also roll a d8 and show the extra from a crit.
Roll 2d6 and show it as fire damage. Again, potential crits will show the bonus.
It's not a perfect interface and there's certainly room for improvement, but one-click attack rolling is such a QoL thing that its lack on the D&D Beyond character sheet is... noticeable.
It was explained to me that because I took the Dual Wielder Feat, that allows me to use a weapon (other than light) for the bonus action granted under "Two Weapon Fighting". Pg 165: "You can use two-weapon fighting even when the one-handed melee weapons you are wielding aren't light." Then the description of 2-weapon fighting on pg 195, "When you take the Attack action and attack with a light melee weapon that you’re holding in one hand, you can use a bonus action to attack with a different light melee weapon that you’re holding in the other hand."
ie: the Dual wielder negates the restriction of the 'light' property under 2 weapons.

That's the old (2014) version of Dual Wielder, but yes, that's correct if you're playing under 2014 rules.
My comment was in the context of what MPA was saying; I think we both misunderstood the situation since you didn't mention having Dual Wielder in your original post.
Apologies, I think my brain mashed together "dual wielder" and "Two Weapon Fighting" where I said I had "Dual Weapon." And yes also to clarify we're playing 2014 (Legacy) rules.
If you run Beyond 20, even without running Roll 20, it gives you the roll damages button after the attack and it adds all the oddball things like 2d6 on a Flametongue.
Although the ability to roll straight from the DDB character sheet is nice, especially for online play, it is terribly slow. As you point out, this becomes especially so if you have multiple attacks to make. Unfortunately there is no way to speed this up in DDB... however...
If you are using a VTT, many have the ability to type in rolls manually into the chat window. If so, you could pretype out the commands for all of your attacks, then on your turn just copy'n paste them into the chat window of the VTT and it will roll them all at once. I've done this with FoundryVTT on occasion.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
Playing D&D since 1982
Have played every version of the game since Basic (original Red Box Set), except that abomination sometimes called 4e.
I think this is what I'm going to try next. Our group uses Owlbear Rodeo for our VTT and they have a nice simple built in dice roller that has a "history" button. This will allow me to roll multiple dice options and include multipliers and I think should speed things up. (although I'm not sure how difficult it will be to switch between open tabs/windows). Perhaps even a hybrid where I roll the attacks on DDB, and roll damage only on OBR.

Dual Wielder still allows an attack with a non-light weapon as long as you attack with a light weapon first.

To go back to the original question, I think you already found this but the "advised" solution is:
Create a Custom Action to roll the fire damage:
This will create an action to roll with.
Regarding rolling multiple times, it's really not that slow but you can roll the attack multiple times, then the damage where appropriate.
