That might work for a few companies, but any company that has a human resources department screen applications before sending them to the hiring manager would look at your application and put it in the "do not call" pile if you did that. It would be fun to do and it would attract attention if it got to the hiring manager, but you'd have to get it past HR first and that is impossible in many companies.
I could see doing that when just blanketing local companies with your resume whether they are hiring or not. You're just fishing at that point and you may get lucky and catch someone's eye. But I wouldn't expect great results, if any.
That might work well when tailored to a very specific position at a very specific company.

So I'm getting bored with the same old format of job applications and I was thinking about starting to fill them out like character sheets.
You know, list my stats and define them in a way its applicable to the job, use a 1-10 or 5star system. Maybe add some feats, background...
