Was looking on the Amazon App Store and didn't look like there was much in the way of tools for D&D 5E players.
Am I missing any good ones? I know if I put the Google Play store on my Kindle Fire I'd have more options but when I tried that, the Kindle ran slow as heck.

Have you considered the dnd beyond app? Character sheets coming soon.
I think the OP’s issue is that the DDB app isn’t available in the Fire store, just on Google Play for android users.
