Been trying to figure out how to have a racial feature have a bonus that would correspond to character level without giving a bunch of options that would kick in at each level. Since that seems like a kinda ridiculous amount of extra work more so if there is some kind of feature that I am just missing.
Here's an example of what I did for a relic (similar to minor artifact):
Proficiency bonus increases as you level, and the above effect influences saving throws in general. When you make a homebrew item, you can choose expertise on saving throws without specifying ability score, so this is totally doable. Notice how I gave it a 25% HP requirement though - expertise on ALL saving throws, which doubles ALL proficiency bonus on saving throws, can be pretty OP so it needs a balance.
But instead of saving throws you can choose anything prof bonus related. But yes, this does scale with level and it's really useful.
Just a question about that item @Rezilia, when it says it grants 'expertise' on a saving throw, does that mean it grants double proficiency on all saving throws or just on the ones in which the character is already proficient?

I am not sure how connecting it to prof bonus would work it's not like prof bonus is equal to your character level. The ability in question grants temp HP equal to con mod plus character level when knocked out and ability is only thing keeping you active until ether a minute passes or your temp HP runs out. Or if you are healed. If you run out of temp HP or the minute passes and you haven't gained any HP yet, You fall back down and make death saves as normal.

That makes it easy. There are no modifiers for temp HP, so what you need are snippets.

As I said in my post, any saving throws. If expertise requires proficiency, the text would say "expertise on ___ in which you are proficient" like in the books. So this works for death saves, too. In fact, it's really designed for death saves.

I'm not sure what you're talking about. Nowhere did it mention temp HP. And prof bonus isn't equal to your character level, but it improves with your character level. There's a chart for this.

No it's nothing to do with your relic, it's the racial ability That I vaguely mentioned in my Original Post that I was asking for help with on how to homebrew it on this website due to not being able to find a way to give character level bonuses

Unfortunately adding something that does all of these at once, especially when made unconscious:
- Temp HP equal to con modifier - Add character level to the above - Ends after a minute or temp HP runs out
is not currently possible in Beyond.
However, you can instead add the following modifier:
Bonus | Temporary Hit Points | Con | (no Fixed Value) | Proficiency Bonus | (no Details) | 1 | Minute
Again associating it with Proficiency Bonus, since Proficiency Bonus changes with your level.
You can also choose to forgo the above and instead change it to this:
Bonus | Hit Points Per Level | (no Score) | 1 | (no Additional) | (no Details) | 1 | Minute
HP per Level depends on Con, so you'd be adding 1 HP after the Con modifier this way for each level.

Thank you, although where would I input the codes? Do they only work by putting them directly onto the character sheet or can I use them when making a Homebrewed race/class/Feat? That was the unclear part. For the most part I understand but if I am making a homebrewed race to be used by my players I need to be able for it to work correctly without giving them a list of data to input on their own sheets.

You put them in the feature description.
In particular what you want to put is: When you are reduced to 0 hit points but not killed outright, you gain {{modifier:con+characterlevel}} temporary hit points... Then the rest of the rules for the effect.
On a character sheet the {{...}} becomes a bolded number.

Maybe connect it to proficiency bonus?

Oh woops, failed to read the actual post, sorry.
