Hopefully I am putting this in the correct place, as it is not really beta feedback. If these have already been submitted please let me know.
D&D Beyond is great so far - but I still have to keep other tools open in the background to track maps and notes for my campaign. I would imagine a lot of other DM's are experiencing the same thing. Including a mapping tool that can export maps to selected campaigns, as well as a separate section for notes in which they can be better organized would go a long way toward using a single "pane of glass.
Edit: Added NPC management.
Below are some suggestions I have:
Map Designer - Create a "localized" hex/square grid map with a basic set of icons for towns, chests, traps, etc. - Create a "world" map with basic city, town, and terrain icons. - Export maps to created campaigns and/or notes.
Notebook - Move the current note sections into it's own page. - Allow for better organization through folder structures and campaign headers. - Allow DM's to add notes with linked items/rules/etc. from the compendium. - Allow notes to be shared with players on an individual basis.
NPC Management - the ability to track and note NPCs and share this info with players if needed.
A map creator like you suggested would be perfect. My drawing is abysmal and i would like to keep everything in this one app, so I dont want to use a 3rd party map creator. Also I dont want to ask my artistically inclned player to draw my map because it would reveal information that I dont want revealed.
I could see this needing to be purchased tho. A continental map with cities along with stats and npcs all in one app, i would be happy to pay for it.
I would also like these features and would love a single app model. Can't lie, I would like it to be included in the Master Tier, but can see where an addon on fee would make this more likely to happen. Maybe $1 monthly to the master tier?

I would also be willing to pay an additional fee for this if implemented well.
