hi guys I have two thing that I quite understand about lycauthropy - at ther very end it says to add hit dices to charter level, so what do lv 1 tiger paladin is 7lv charter? and faces 2/3 level Adjustment? - many animals have fixed about of HP added to dit dices, should I do anything with it or completly ignore it?
I am not 100% sure of what you are asking so if my answers are not what you need I am sorry and please feel free to restate and ask again.
When a PC (which is what I assume you are asking about) acquires the lycanthropic curse they have three options. resist the curse in which case they retain their original alignment except when they are transformed by whatever triggers their transformation (typicly the moon for werewolves)
- Resist the curse in which case they retain their original alignment except when they are transformed by whatever triggers their transformation (typically the moon for werewolves) at which point they become an NPC under the DM's control.
- Embrace the curse in which case their alignment changes to the alignment given in the lycanthropy stat block, at that point the DM can choose to make the character an NPC or allow the player to keep playing the character with the new alignment.
- The curse is removed, at which point the character is no longer lycanthropic, keep in mind this is only an option for someone who acquired the curse if they were born with it no amount of the remove curse spell will help them with their transformations.
That being said as per the MM in the Lycanthropy section, "A character who becomes a lycanthrope retains his or her statistics except as specified by lycanthrope type. The character gains the lycanthrope’s speeds in nonhumanoid form, damage immunities, traits, and actions that don’t involve equipment. The character is proficient with the lycanthrope’s natural attacks, such as its bite or claws, which deal damage as shown in the lycanthrope’s statistics."
Then there is an additional section that applies to specific lycanthropes. The weretigers are "The character gains a Strength of 17 if his or her score isn’t already higher. Attack and damage rolls for the natural weapons are based on Strength. For the Pounce trait, the DC is 8 + the character’s proficiency bonus + Strength modifier."
Templates such as Vampire, Half-dragon, and Lycanthrope do not give class levels or have class levels that can be taken, 5E does not have level adjustment based off of them. The character level is the total levels of all classes a character has, ie A 2nd Level Rogue/ 3rd Level fighter would be a 5th level character. Hit dice are determined by class levels, so the 2nd level rogue/3rd level fighter would have 5 hit dice, three from fighter 2 from rogue.
Finally, the HP of animals/monsters. The stat block lists HP like this: Hit Points 21 (6d4 + 6) (that came from Intellect Devourer, one of my fave creatures). To break that down, the Devourer has 21 HP this is roughly calculated by taking the max of the first hit dice (4), adding the average of the remaining 5 hit dice (5 to 25 or 5d4 averages out to roughly 2.5 hp per die) and then adding the extra hp (+6 in this case). If you do not want to use the average (21) you can instead roll 6d4+6. Keep in mind this does not override the PC's hp if they gain lycanthropy because a PC's hp is a function of there combined class levels.

thank you a lot. It helps a little. I actually prefer 3.5. Esspesaly when it comes to lycanthropy, (mainly becouse it allows using almost animals). There is a part about creating about lycanthrop from any animal and any humanoid or gigant. There is this line that I not quite get "In addition, a lycanthrope’s character level is increased by the number of racial Hit Dice the base animal has." I also feel a bit lost then is comes to ther lv sorces like how troll starts with 6lvs of gigant. How do this think work? how they interact with class lv?
For the most part, DDB is focused on 5E, during the 3/.5 era I was not acting as a DM so I can not speak to that much. You can make a non-human based Lycanthrope in 5E by adding non-human racial traits like elves Fey Ancestry or even a Tortle's Shell Defense (Heh Werewolf with a shell). In 3/.5 (and again I did not run as much as play) if memory serves me correctly ECL for lycanthropy is Character level +2 +HD of the base animal.
So if you have a 3rd level fighter who became a werewolf it would be 3(character level)+2(lycanthropy)+ 3 ( or whatever the HD of a wolf is), you would effectively be a level 8 character. This would affect the amount of XP you need to level up, at which point I think (and again, this is not something I am sure of) you could either increase your character level, start leveling a new class, or increase your HD from wolf/werewolf.

That one's actually not quite accurate. You take the average of each die (2.5) and add the modifier (usually the creature's Con modifier times the number of dice; in this case, 6), then round down, if applicable. So (2.5*6)+6=21. 21.0

PCs and monsters work just a bit differently.
Ah, sorry I was doing the math rough. Thanks for catching that.
