I like ddb's digital dice. I like having all my tools in one place and the minimum number of clicks to do what I want to do. One thing I've seen several people ask about is adding additional damage dice on attacks. Playing with homebrew, I know this isn't possible to do in a single item, but it is easy to setup.
What about the Any dice option? Well yeah, that works. It works great with your DM asks for a d100 roll to see how your day is going to go, or a d12 to see how tasty you are. But those are just generic rolls. Extra Enlarge/Reduce damage is not a generic roll.
Wouldn't it be great to pass some useful information across Beyond20 to whichever tool your using instead of that generic roll? Tired of reading the ramblings of a bored middle aged guy? How do we do this??? Custom Actions
Let's use extra Enlarge damage from Enlarge/Reduce damage for our example:
On the ACTIONS tab click on MANAGE CUSTOM
On the Manage Custom Actions sidebar:
Under ADD NEW ACTIONS select General
Under GENERAL click on Custom Action 1
On the Custom Action 1 sidebar:
Click on Edit
Add 1 in Dice Count
Select 4 in Die Type
Select No Action in Activation Type
Check Display as Attack on
Change Name to Extra Enlarged Weapon Damage (the sidebar name will change to Extra Enlarged Weapon Damage)
Put the following in both the Snippet and the Description: This provides the correct damage roll if you are under the affects of the Enlarge feature of Enlarge/Reduce spell..
Here's what we end up with:
Setup:

The roll:
The results:
and
Got some extra cool fire socks that add a d6 Fire damage to any attack? Add a damage type to the above settings. Make sure ddb doesn't already do this, like Sneak Attack, Hex, Hunter's Mark, and Zephyr Strike already give you a damage die roll and I'm sure bunches of other features are already in there if you look hard enough.
Edit: Got too high the other night and had my head set on Bless damage. Bless does not add extra damage. But Enlarge does, so I fixed this.

Cool, but Bless doesn't increase damage :p
If you are using Beyond20, there are options to add additional dice.
Custom Roll dice formula bonus for Bless, for instance.
Custom Damage dice formula bonus for Magic Weapon, for instance.
