Game: D&D 5e Group preferred: Online Experience: veteran Location/Timezone: EST Availability: Monday-Thursday evenings from 7:00 PM EST to no later than Midnight EST Preferred role: Player Game style: 40 year old (he/him) that's been playing TTRPGs since I've been 14 years old. Starting with Mechwarrior 2nd Edition (FASA), Star Wars 2nd Edition West End Games, AD&D (2e), 3e, 3.5e, P1e, and recently 5e. I love a good mix of RP, puzzles and combat, and try not to focus too much on one over the other as I find a nice balance of the three makes for a good time. I tend to favor casters, but lately I've been enjoying a mix of melee and caster hybrids such paladins, the eldritch knight and hexblade warlock. But I'm always open to trying something new! I prefer groups that tend to build their characters to work well together, synergy being a big plus in my book. Though I do understand that sometime character concepts don't always allow for it. I also hope that one of these days I'll get a character beyond level 11, but I understand why most groups don't.
I'm open to both Homebrew or Premade content, but in terms of premades, I've already Run Waterdeep Dragon Heist (which was supposed to link to Decent into Avernus till the group fell apart due to scheduling issues), and Storm Kings Thunder (on hiatus, so I don't want to spoil the rest of the story once COVID allows my group to meet up again), and I'm not too interested with Mines of Phandelver unless it links into another adventure.
Given I'm a father, married and a working stiff, my time is limited, which is why I'm looking for a group that meets biweekly rather than weekly. And since my weekend tends to focus more on family and friends, Friday, Saturday and Sundays are out. So that leaves Monday to Thursday. And with a young son, he tends to go to bed and be in bed before 7:00 PM EST, so I'd ideally prefer groups that start after 7:00 PM EST, and don't go later than Midnight EST. Also, as he's an infant, a group that understands that I may need to step away occasionally to take care of him. I am very new player friendly (I think anyone wanting to join this hobby is a good thing!), have experience with Roll20 (but open to trying other online tools) and have discord.
So, if you think I may be a good fit for your group, I'd love to hear from you!
I'd be interested as well. I have a home-brewed/homemade game that I'm in that plays Wed. nights, so Monday, Tuesday, and Thursdays are best for me. CST here.
My experience with D&D is limited. Played off and on in different groups that put me in characters of level 11-13 starting out. I'd rather start out from 1 or a little "higher" and go from there to get a feel for my character and how the game works with a steady campaign. I have a Roll20 account, but I haven't used it yet, but I have Discord.

Just a friendly bump. Just a reminder that I am looking for a bi-weekly campaign.
Still on the lookout for a biweekly 5e campaign.
Just a humpday bump
Still hoping to find that rare biweekly weeknight group!
If you ever need another player to fill something let me know i'd gladly assist. Groups here are getting lower and lower.
