Before talking about my games, I would like you to get to know me first, it is really nice to have you reading this and you can call me Snow! I'm a fan of roleplaying even before I knew what was it, as a kid I played with my command and action figures creating epic scenes in my own head, things like Captain Yager would defeat the dark Doctor Zakrenstein haha! And that's how it was until I got my hands on the RPG itself and discovered the so amazing AD&D at the time, from that point it was just downhill where edition after edition I discovered fell deeper and deeper into this world of roleplaying games, until I reached my favorite edition, D&D 5e.
Since I got my hands on D&D 5e in 2015 it became my favorite, everything about it is so well done, always ready to DM it and it became something that I enjoyed and now i love soo much to DM it, creating stories and trying to bring the most out of players out of it, and it even became something my friends joke about a lot when we go out and at the end of the ride, they ask me to DM something quick for them, it's always fun to bring a dark horror or an epic adventure from my mind to them no matter where we are at the time. After the sad pandemic, I intensified playing a lot of RPG to go through everything we all went through, today having a vast skill as a master ranging from tables based on school dramatic styles to dark tables based on horrors, tension and destruction in massive and challenging combats, and because of that, today I'm here!
That's a very tricky question, but it's a really important question! And I hope to tell you that I believe with all my heart and with respect to all the great DMs out there telling amazing stories, that I can create a tabletop concept with roleplay and combat to a point capable of leaving any player of styles different, have a great table together!
I believe that the correct cadence and harmony can create moments of peace, darkness, despair and anger when applied correctly in a narrative, and I believe that I can do this very well, when I create small details during the table to intrigue the audience. players, when I describe in detail each piece of the scenario in order to make the players put themselves on the feet of the characters or when I narrate instead of a simple attack, that the great paladin throws his chest backwards, creating an enormous force to which the wire divine sparks emanate from the blade, those that are left behind when the body that falls backwards immobile is projected forward guiding the blade like a guillotine, destroying the creature, splitting it in half, which is dissipated as the projected rays before the blade they follow, divinely destroying everything they find, and the paladin, with the blade shocked against the ground, gasps for the successful blow and one more enemy, defeated. I think in moments like that, I think I stand out a little bit.
In addition, I not only believe that I am a capable DM but that it will also bring many benefits to being an artist in the RPG community doing commissions, which you would get for free with items designed by me and the chance to have art by the master who knows your character session by session! If you want you can check my art on ArtStation and Instagram.

Homebrew Rules
Resting (Grimdark/Horror Games Only)
Will be used Safe Heave rule with the normal short and long rest rule A 'Safe Haven' as defined by these rules is "a place where adventurers can rest without the need to guard themselves or be on alert", or, more specifically "a safe and secure place where the basic needs of the adventurers are met without violence or fears of violence."
Healing Potions (All games)
Healing potions can be drunk as a bonus action (eg 2d4+2). If you drink in the Action, you recover the maximum that can be rolled (eg 10).
Running Action (All games)
You use what I call a Full Action (Action + Bonus Action) to dash 4x your speed, all attacks of opportunity are at advantage against you during this move.
Flanking (All games)
+2 on hit, if the creature has good passive perception or more than two eyes or keen senses or is larger than the size of those flanking it doesn't work.
Equivalent Exchange (All games)
Sometimes things can't be done because of the rules and are too strong to be released by the Rule of Cool, I'll mediate all attempts outside the box, if an equivalent exchange happens, you want to save your ally, but, what's up? are you willing to give of yourself for this?
Scalable Magic Items (All games)
Some magic items will increase or improve over time as trigger actions or casualties are filled from their table, for example a bloodthirsty sword will improve after consuming the delight of the blood of a hundred enemies.
Inspiration Tokens (All games)
Every session, players start with an inspiration token, it can be used to roll a dice with advantage or re-roll a dice and compulsorily keep the new roll. Upon use, it becomes a Negative Token, which the GM can use to gain advantage against the target player or impose disadvantage on a roll, whereupon the token becomes an Inspiration Token again and can be used by the player.
Safety Tools

By joining this campaign you will be one of many starting heroes tha look forward to forging their legend, and you will be afilliated to the Heroic Guild of Yuporan, you can expect a general high-fantasy tone with undelying themes of adventure, drama, wild jungle where everything wants to hunt you down and if you climb high enough on the guild's rank system even stories of epic proportions. I want to make you aware that this episodic format will not prohibit the existence of quests that last more than one session, we will pursue the story until its end, no matter how many sessions it takes to reach the goal. Campaign Info:
Long ago, a war between gods of good and evil scoured the surface of the world of Exandria. Both the noble Prime Deities and the selfish Betrayer Gods imbued their mortal champions with supernatural gifts that granted them strength enough to challenge their divine foes. The greatest of these champions was Alyxian the Apotheon, who received the blessings of three Prime Deities to save the world from the apocalyptic power of the Betrayer Gods.
Centuries later, all knowledge of this godlike hero has been lost to time, and two groups of adventurers are called upon to retrace this mythic hero's steps and free him from his timeless prison. The tale begins in lands familiar to Critical Role fans—the war-scarred wastes of Xhorhas and the glimmering oasis city of Ank'Harel—but ultimately stretches beyond the Material Plane to a realm of lightless despair known as the Netherdeep.
I know it can be tricky to invest in a paid campaign, especially when you don't know the GM and how he DMs. With that in mind, I am opening a new way to join the campaign, zero session and the first session are free! Before this, session zero was always paid, and now, the first session will be too! In addition, if you like the campaign and how I narrate it, you can pay for the first session if you want after it has taken place and with that, you will win a character art for your token drawn by me!
Of course, as we already talked about on Discord before I saw this message, you will find an amazing adventure in Yuporan and it's really nice to have you with us!
Who is The Heroic Guild of Yuporan?
In Agon, a myriad of heroes, villains and anti-heroes constantly decide the future in incredible and destructive feuds. Some wish to free their peoples, others to become immortal tyrants... Within all this, the heroic guild's performance throughout Agon is to protect only... everything that exists!
In quests that are posted to players every beginning of the week, where the amazing adventurers decide which one they will attend if they are not already traveling somewhere solving something that they were called, heroic guild members will be able to have not only an ongoing story of their ambitions of your characters, but also interact with the world of Agon and directly in Yuporan, deciding the future of this place!
No matter what happens, the heroic guild members will be there to preserve the fragile harmony between the primordial forces of Agon, equipped with the best of skills, magic items and an entire host infrastructure such as pubs, barracks, workshops and etc. Our heroes have always persevered in the face of any challenge.
I go on to say that even episodic, all sessions have the narrative of incorporating the personal stories of each character with the history of the world, where roleplay and character development will never be left out. And the best thing is that, in Yuporan you play when you can, that means, you can play every other week if that's your only availability, and you don't need to be every week playing or if you need a week out, it will be totally ok!
I want to let everyone know that Call for Netherdeep already have two players ready to play and only need two more to start the adventure! Join this incredible adventure made by the people of Critical Role o/
Yuporan too needs only two players aswell to start running!
I don't necessarily want to make this sound like a 'review' of sorts, but I cannot praise what I had the absolute pleasure of experiencing nearly enough (within fair boundaries, I want to be objective, after all). There are a few reasons, but the primary two boil down to communication and dedication to craft.
I am one of the players in the Strahd campaign, for initial context. TLDR - Snow is an excellent DM despite their self-perceived shortcomings and is doing everything to make the games fun for all. If you like roleplay-forward but still "crunchy" gameplay in an environment that promotes creativity and collaboration, and can see past English not being absolutely perfect with so much heart behind the game, do yourself a favor and swallow the fear of jumping in with people you don't know yet. Make some friends you'll remember for years to come with the story you'll all make.
Snow made it completely clear of what to expect, and made the extra effort to overcome their language barrier, something they put forward and apologized (in my opinion, unnecessarily) for. They did everything in their capabilities to ensure that all players were on the same page for how the game would go, what would be acceptable subject matter, and anything that was not laid out in plain English was open to conversation. The end of our first session was followed by a conversation that lasted somewhere north of three hours, which was spent mostly upon the comforts of the players and ensuring things are going well. There was banter, of course, which speaks to the actual comfort of the players who remained to chat, and made me - a person who is generally exceptionally anxious when trying to socialize online - feel more than welcome.
Snow wants to cultivate a story between players as much as guide through a module. Come on, let's face it, we all know Curse of Strahd has some well-known bits, and not everyone who has played it usually at least expects somethinghorrible funny to happen with Mr. Vampire McBadman. Acknowledging that, the focus has not necessarily been on "hack and slash your way through droves of undead, all will be well," but an interparty dynamic of people who have a love of the theatric nature that the current modern iteration of D&D lends itself to, but more on that later.
On top of clearly communicating the intentions and comforts for the game, they further fostered that comfortable environment by demonstrating an intention for inclusiveness. This, technically, applies to both of my major points, but I wish to focus on the communication aspect first. Guilty as charged, I'm a bit of a talker in-session, especially when describing things. Think Liam O'Brien's tendencies, if you're a Crit Role fan. I and some of the other players have dominated airspace for the mostpart, leaving some to be quiet. Two things were laid out in doing so, that spoke to Snow's best intentions:
- They reached out to other players in the lobby channel (the Roll20 chat, specifically, to be unintrusive to us loudmouths) to let them explore the map as conversation carried on - They let the floor open in the talk following the game to discuss the matter, wherein the talkers - mostly myself, being the self-punishing sort I can be - made the effort to open avenues for ways to communicate that something important to the player wants to be said
These known, Snow is outwardly open to private communication if something is unpleasant or uncomfortable, and has made it known they are not afraid to handle that as executively as needs be.
All of this makes, as a final note, an environment for the craft to come to its fullest without being a well-funded crew of nerdy-ass voice actors who sit around, roll dice, and play Dungeons & Dragons (for a living). None of us are actors, not as far as I'm aware, at least. But we had the free reign to adhere to our characters as much or as little as we wanted, depending on our comfort with the game. Snow made well and sure to work with me on customising and flavor, letting me achieve as close of an idea mechanically as I had in mind to match the flavor of my character.
I could wax on, but I don't feel like it's going to do much more. I'm some nobody on the Internet, but if I were Commander Shepherd, this would be my favorite D&D on the Citadel. Give the fellow a shot. They're worth the time, in my opinion.
Snow has been a pleasure to deal with .... i concur with the fellow above snow and the rest if the gang are awsome and very professional... i am on monday call of the netherdeep also.... see ya in game

"bees don't waste their time explaining to flies that honey is better than shit"
It warms my heart so much to read this, Strahd's campaign would be nothing if it weren't for the combination of you and the other players, I feel so much more inspired to narrate and prepare every little detail of Barovia when I know that everyone's engagement it happens so naturally and incredibly, it's an honor to be able to DM it for you.
Thank you very much! So far it's been amazing to create with you what your character will be like and have you in the Netherdeep campaign, your animation fills me with hype
