Azrael's Guide to the Apocalypse is a high-level, apocalyptic adventure designed for your character, ranging from levels 10-20. You will join Azrael, the Angel of Death, and an eclectic band of heroes as you embark on an adventure inspired by the events in the biblical book of Revelation. This journey is not for the faint of heart, and defeating evil will come at a cost. This campaign will challenge the conventions of space and time, thrusting you into the front lines of a spiritual war that spans the fringes of human understanding and mortal history, bringing you face-to-face with cosmic horrors and - worst of all - your own personal demons. The monsters, magic items, and adventure structure are all inspired by the biblical book of Revelation, but the narrative is designed to unfold in a way that is personal to your character. This means that, although the encounters are "linear," with each vignette being presented in a prescribed order, the choices you make will have a direct impact on the story, as well as on your personal destiny. An included "Story Tracker" will allow the GM to keep track of critical decisions you make during each arc of the adventure, leading to dire consequences by level 20. You have full agency in solving each dilemma as it develops, but the choices you make along the way will shape reality itself. This adventure takes place in the spiritual realm outside of time and space, so you might hail from vastly different time periods and cultures of human history, yet find yourself thrown together in an adventure of cosmic and biblical proportions. When you first meet your companions, you may find each other's tools and abilities strange, but any differences will soon be forgotten when confronted with the horrors of spiritual warfare. You will need to be prepared for combat against the forces of this present Darkness, but you will also quickly learn that fighting evil requires much more than the ability to inflict damage.

Headphones or push-to-talk settings are recommended to minimize echo and background noise. While it's not necessary to read the rules beforehand, you can familiarize yourself with the basic rules of D&D here: https://dnd.wizards.com/what-is-dnd/basic-rules Please note that older computers might have difficulty running the software, but we can test it out and see how it goes. Looking forward to our game!
