Game: D&D 5e Group type: Online Experience: Newish. I have 6 Dming sessions under my belt (online) and 6 (In person) player sessions. Location/Timezone: United States/Eastern Schedule: 9am-noon Sundays with a hard stop at 1pm. We play every Sunday unless I am out of town. I’m out of town 0-3 times a month. Roles sought: I have one player friend that plays with me. We are looking for either players looking to start a campaign or a DM/group that has a game. Game style: 60% roleplay 40% combat. I achieve this ratio by always planning a combat scenario in every session. Not all encounters must be settled through violence but some encounters can only be handled by violence. If there will be a non-combat session I try to warn the group. If the group wants a non-combat session I will always oblige but I won’t do two non combat sessions in a row (I like rolling dice).
any questions message me on discord at Justin2minutes
This is a homebrew campaign not set in published wizards of the coast worlds. That being said the world is heavily influenced by published works. Many cities and names are reused and the world follows much of the written lore found in the players handbook, monsters manual and dungeon guide.
The world follows most of the generic DnD setting norms found in the dungeon masters guide. This is done on purpose. As long as players have some idea how DnD is portrayed in media then they will feel comfortable.
The world is unique. The meta story that drives the NPCs forward is its own and the players have plenty of world changing discoveries to explore. Players will decide the fate of a town a region or, if we play long enough, the world.
