Game: D&D 5e 2014 Group type: Live virtual Experience: All experience welcome! Location/Timezone: Tuesdays, 8-11pm, EST Roles sought: 2-3 more players. Currently have: 2 Game style: RP-heavy, player-driven, very open to new players! Platforms: Discord for audio dndbeyond for sheets, Owlbear Rodeo for maps (very easy to use) Safety Tools: Lines and veils, stars and wishes, x/n/o cards, etc.
Story: For months, you've worked for Syndra Silvane. Now her life is in danger, withering away from a curse that's spreading all over the world. Desperate for a cure, she's sent you to the tropical isle of Bwualli to find the source of the curse. Explore haunted ruins, evade dinosaurs and murderous goblins, and find the Soulmonger before it's too late.
Other: We've only played two sessions so far, and had some folks drop out due to scheduling. The party hit lvl 2 but haven't yet dived into the adventure itself, so it's a great point for new players to hop in. The Campaign will most likely continue past the module as well, as I like to incorporate player backstories. :)
If you have any questions, feel free to drop them here or message me!
I've DM'd a few one-shots in 5E, but I'm nooooo expert and I don't get many chances to be a player. I am also neurodivergent - so this sounds great for me! Any other info i can give you for consideration?
The game itself is high rp/high combat. I'm very open to player's driving the story and tailoring it to everyone's needs - including line/veils. I know the other two players very well, and this is the very first campaign for one of them. As far as my DMing style, I've been told I'm a "nice DM" (lol) but I really appreciate the story-telling aspect of d&d and will most often let the cool thing happen over strict rules and mechanics. The only thing I don't really do is music in games, because of my own neurodiversity.
The party right now has a rogue and a monk/barbarian, and they've taken on a cleric NPC. I don't really care if there's overlap in classes though. Player enjoyment is my top priority. I'm also open to some homebrew, UA, or other sourcebooks. The game is set in the world of Exandria (from Critical Role) but knowledge of it and CR aren't necessary!

Hopefully that answers any questions you have. If not, there may be more here - this is the listing for the game on StartPlaying.Games, the site that handles booking and payments. https://startplaying.games/adventure/cm5h6k2j2000u3xkzim4qgjq1
