Name: Briana Age: 26 Time Zone: CST (Available Tues-Friday, all day) Experience: ~8 years as a player, a few one-shots as a DM
Hey there! I'm on the hunt for a long term D&D group to join as a player. I have been playing 5e on and off for years now and love the collaborative story-telling aspect of it all. I am a group player and love to make sure everyone at the table feels included and that we all feel hyped about our moments.
What you can count on me for:
Attendance and Communication (I respect your time as well as every at the table's time),
Balanced playstyle (RP and Strategy for the win),
Fun, supportive energy and a willingness to help newer players,
I'm really drawn to classic fantasy adventures with emotional or moral depth. I'm also really into humor and shenanigans, I think the best tables have a mix of both serious and easy going roleplay. As far as a character concept goes, I love to fill party needs! I don't mind playing anything from Cleric, to Wizard, to Fighter, as long as I get to play! I love to build a character based off the lore of the world or based on the campaign hook. That way the character makes sense within the boundaries of the story as a whole.
I am a very laid back and fun loving individual. I am easy going and try to get along with everyone. I love to laugh and its very easy to make me do so. I’m looking for a chill but consistent long-term group with players who like a mix of goofiness and emotional storytelling.
I am not interested in Paid games, this is not negotiable.
If you're interested in a modern campaign, we just had a player drop out right before our first session. You mentioned enjoying lore—this campaign has five years of history behind it, so there's definitely plenty of lore to enjoy.
My last campaign ended with probably one of the most memorable and profound resolutions ever. If you've ever played in my campaigns before, you would know that I don't really do Evil just because. No, I create entire backstories and motivations and such. Pure fighting the BBEG is good in all but being able to stop the BBEG with simply words... that's just. It's hard to say. And I have 2 of those players in this campaign, so it's bound to be just as good, if not better.
We have a very open schedule and some players from Europe, so we work across time zones. The campaign uses a mix of themes from 2024 and 2014, and it is entirely free to play. No microphone is necessary since everything is text-based. The campaign takes place on Discord—if you're interested, add me at elysium_cats.
I could type way more about this, but I'll save you the extra reading time.
You’d be a fantastic fit for The Nexus, an 18+ LGBTQAI+ friendly community with a Westmarch-style setup, where each DM runs their own world. We love collaborative, story-driven players who balance roleplay, strategy, and humor — exactly the kind of vibe you described.
We’re a global community with daily sessions, so your availability Tuesday–Friday works perfectly. Our games use D&D 5e (2014 ruleset) with D&D Beyond campaign links, and you can create multiple characters from level 3 with a generous 35 Point Buy, making it easy to adapt to any campaign or fill party needs. We also offer Play by Post/TRP options for slower-paced story-heavy adventures.
If you’re looking for a fun, supportive, long-term group where everyone gets to shine and the story really matters, check us out here.
