Game: D&D 5e Group preferred: Online discord Experience: Experienced DM looking for players of any level Location/Timezone: After dinner EST Availability: Saturday Preferred role: DM Game style: Looking to Gage Interest in 5E Homebrew DnD with MTG Commander Elements. Think Duelist Kingdom meets MMORPG/DnD game.
Every one while start with an approved bracket 2 tribal deck - Card List TBA
Deck up grades will be dropped by monsters or bought at shops.
This is an interesting combination, though I've never heard of Duelist Kingdom. What comes to mind is the Triple Triad mini-game from FF8, with match results having a much greater influence on the world at large; is that close to what you're going for?
Also, few logistical questions:
What level of experience with MTG is expected?
What are the expectations for MTG resources (i.e., do players have to own the cards somehow, or are there wikis with the info)?
What kind of schedule (e.g., every Saturday, bi-weekly, monthly, etc) and timeframe (i.e., start time and session length) are you looking for?
Good questions! Duelest kindom is from the Yu Gi Ho anime. It's a card game tournament on an island.
The landscape of the battle gave buffs to certain card in the players decks.
