Green as They Come
Fifty years before the fall of Respia, while its flag still flew but its power did wane, the shadows of its fate did begin to creep through its majestic walls. Goblinoids wandered the wilds, harassing the goodly people and straining the weakened military. The once great kingdom became infested, and the rats had much to gain.
You are one of these opportunistic goblinoids, wandering the southern lands of Respia in the twilight years of the kingdom. Survival is the goal, as hijinks keeps your little gobbie heart beating. The only laws to follow is the law of nature, the only rules to break are all of them. Starting with rags and working your way up via whatever unscrupulous methods you prefer, this adventure will emphasize the tough nature of being a lowly goblin.
Starting Point
In the wake of a raid on a goblin encampment by Respian knights, many were sent fleeing for safety. A few gobbies gather in a hidden hovel, and become the party of adventures we follow. The knights are still on the hunt for stragglers as they pile in one by one. When the coast is clear, they are left to fend for themselves. Another goblin settlement is some ways away to the west, Gravelpit, a safe spot to reunite with their people. Assuming it hasn’t suffered the same fate.
In this campaign you will all be playing as goblins, surviving in the Respian wilds and avoiding being culled. Before goblins became a more tolerated people in the world of Vogard, they were seen as just another group of monsters. This campaign will have a higher difficulty, pushing players to weigh whether fighting is even worth it. Which considering the EXP you'll need to get stronger, it just might be.

I charge $10 per session, with discount options for paying un bulk. Session zero will be free of course, and if you do not find me to be the right kind of DM we can end at any point, no grudges. Each session will be 3-4 hours long on average. This campaign is LGBTQ+ friendly, and is using the Lines & Veils safety tool. I will only accept those that are 18 or older.
The setting of Vogard is high fantasy with some Final Fantasy-like elements. It is pre-gunpowder, so no firearms. This also means that I will not allow the Artificer. I am pretty liberal with character creation, so long as it isn't world breaking. Homebrew outside of my own is unlikely to be approved, but I am very willing to work with a player to create something new. If you seek a more in-depth description of the world and my style, this link is an introduction to Vogard. I encourage players to consider some of the homebrew options that would fit the setting.
We will be playing over Discord voice chat, without cameras. Using Beyond for character sheets, as well as using Roll20 as our VTT. Stats will be rolled, but it is undecided if we will do standard rolling or a harder option. Hit points will be rolled when leveling. I have a fair amount of homebrew subclasses for those interested in playing something new. Equipment will be selected from five custom options.
