I'm running a 5e game with all content and books yet this is specific class game is not for Wednesday. You can only play rogues and pick assassin for rogue subclass. I'm running an assassin campaign.
I also have my own advanced rule system called mazes and riddles which I can add to any edition. There will be heavy and difficult combat, carefull strategy required on your part and along with mystery related investigations.

Setting, my version of Greyhawk a middle earth world, my world of mazes and riddles, magic is only exclusive to the elite and blood runs for miles.
Ages and experience, 18 + ages and at least some knowledge required.
Allowance, You will be given 300gp, you can choose from a common, uncommon or rare magic item which can be customized.
Campaign, " Assassin cabal "
The year is 1255 AD
Four fuedal royal houses have defected from the central region of orin " pre GreyHawk " promises of more wealth and power come from a dark mysterious voice. The dynasty of orin which is a fuedal common wealth expects the opposing political system the fuedal republic to give up its outdated and barbaric ideology's for the good of the country.
Yet as greed clenchs into very pores of souls, a darker force pulls the vestiges climbing into orin royal courts and Senate towards its hunger for destabilization of the new world wealth.
Yet as the corrupted houses advance into the unknown dark of betrayal. This has created chaos and economic weakness upon orin itself effecting political despots and depleting vital resources
Emporer and emporess Orin wants elite assassins to kill four family's or rather 4 corrupted royal members which are heads of state to the four royal familys in question. If the assassins are successfully this would disrupt the family's influence upon lower vestiges. This contract will pay 100,000 gp per assassin member.
As you are apart of the defenders of realm guild an elite assassin you have a license to kill yet if are caught by war,law or church. There will no traces of your membership upon the guild, we will deny everything.
Yet as assassins you will have contenders, an assassin guild of an unknown origin and intent as ben killing Defenders guild assassins..
The only lead from the guild and orin recon is an abandoned keep which speclitive enemy assassins have occupued.. this is upon the coast of the Freemancers democracy of fish burn. Yet be for warned anarchy settles in this region as law and safety is not promised.

Standard home brew rules These rules are optional except for restrictions. You can use my rules and book rules anyway you want.
Here's an outline: 1. Start at lv 6, Stats are 13 or higher All classes have an extra attack.
2. If your off by 1 on a roll it still makes it. Can roll damage then keep that damage to be reused per attack one round.
3. Attack roll 25 or higher, target cannot react.
4. Heavy weapons don't need bonus actions. Damage 1d4 is a bonus action.
5. Nat 20s have additional options once per day
• negate a Nat 1
• heal 10 hp
• Reroll a failed roll
• 5 nat 20s saved evades death
6. 3 spells can be used in one turn 1 main spell, 1 cantrip, and 1 simple spell. ( If magic is allowed)
7. I have my own home brew weapons.Masterwork weapons are 2d6 great weapons are 2d8. Two ranged weapon attacks can be done one attack.
8. All classes get all weapon and armor mastery's. Except if restrictions are applied
9. Two weapon fighting can be done with doing four attacks, can be done 1x turn. Takes two attacks, Roll twice to hit only.
10. You can dodge, block, attack, aid another with reaction not on your turn.
Restrictions 1 Ac dosent go over 20 untill lv 10 2. Stats don't go over 20 untill lv 10 3. Bonuses don't over 10 untill lv 10 4. Races allowed are classic fantasy only. 5. All player characters are chaotic nuetral, no exceptions.
Damage concepts 1. Poison can kill if not treated with anti venom within 1d4 rolled rounds
2. Undead can turn you from bite if not treated with holy water.
3. Wounds need medicine before magic healing, then can use magic healing.
4. Guns can kill if shot 4 times if not wareing magic or tough armor. If guns are allowed
5. Combat surge: Roll to hit, use up to 2d10 weapon or spell. then roll 1d6 for 10-20 extra damage. Bonuses to damage are not used.
Defenders guild cache. All this is given by the defenders guild.
Weapons, items and different kits, adventure and travel items given to characters by the defenders guild.
Weapons and armor:
•Stealth weapon, a mellee or ranged weapon that does 2d10 damage plus creates stealth effect which can't be heard. The weapon can cause surprise effect.
• All the common weapons and armor you need. • Masterwork non magical medium armor +1 to AC and -1 to damage taken from attacker. • Bracers of defense +1 to ac, to attack and to hit
1. Camping gear, for set up 2. Climbing gear, 100 foot rope, grapple hook, 10 pitons and zip line. 3. Weather gear,magic mask of weather protection, breath under water, toxic gases and to evade basic element damage. Riding gear: war horse and mount, two javelins, iron sheild for defense, saddle bags. 4. Spy glass, 1 mile range
Kits • Medicine kit, 42 vials to heal • Wound healing , • Poison •Disease • Neuro toxins • Gas •Acid and Necrotic
•Magic Disquise kit up to one disquise per day.
•Alchemy kit, one weeks of components, explosive, poison, and potions
Guild magic items 3x use per day
• Belt of feather fall, up to 100 feet
• Ring of healing 1d10

• Light orb, 60 feet
•Mend orb, simple items like cloth, wood, and lite metals.
•Detect orb, this stone detects alignment, magic, life and findsa nd identifys up to 60 feet.
• 10 hp healing potion, refills once a week.
•Boots of silence, creates stealth, no need to roll for stealth
• Cloak of the camelion, creates claiming effect to blend in surroundings. Also it negates infravision.
• Cup of feeding, make 3 meals a day.
