I started a D&D server a few weeks ago, aiming for something with the feel of a local game store. A place where you can jump into a session, see familiar names, and where the world remembers what you did last time.
It’s called The Storyteller’s Lounge. Everything happens in a shared version of the Forgotten Realms. Characters carry over between games. Progress is logged. Actions matter. Most games are voice-based, but we also run play-by-post for those who prefer a slower pace or different style. Players can join when they’re free or run their own games if they want to contribute.
We’ve added crafting, Bastions, and monster hunting to give the world more texture, but none of it’s required. Just tools for the players who want to go deeper.
Three weeks in, we’ve got 130 members and over 60 sessions played. There’s no cost to play. If that sounds like your pace, here’s the link: https://discord.gg/Ze3xmCauHY
It’s not a brand or a project. Just a good space to play.
