Cool cool! Yes action will stay held. With theft of spirit I took it to be a lot less literal and just finding a way of completely demeaning them, with us having had a lot grander sky battles I haven’t really found a chance to use it

I might make it a kind of standard procedure for my play-by-posts. I wondered about making this the OOC thread for all of the Q'rath Set stuff I'm running, but I think that might get cluttered.
So, apologies, but I am also a bit confused regarding initiative order. Is it my turn? Or someone else's?

Actions happen in the order received. Short bits of conversation don't count as an action. Once all PCs have taken an action, I'll post for all NPCs and environmental events. So, as a guideline, if you see me posting an NPC/environmental post, and you haven't acted since then, you can post an action.
Up to bunni, but the way I've run it, init scores can still be used to determine whether we act first on the first round, or they do. Just use the average scores of each group and set the initial order.
So in the future, it sounds like we won't be using the set initiative score anymore?
For the most part, no. If it should come to player-versus-player they will come up. The first side of combat (PC or NPC) will come down to who initiates combat.
I will try to make no less than one NPC post per day, more if all players have posted. Should a player not post within a day, I'll assume their action is held, so they could make two in the following day, though not more than two before the next NPC post. I hope no one feels rushed with that.

Question: can we see whether the damage the cursed ship’s airbag has taken seems to have slowed it down at all?

Not visibly. This thing doesn't seem to move like a real ship though.
After getting some feed back I did a revision of the Cannibal class. I think the only way it impacts Jenaer is that he can choose a fighting style. I revised the Scent of the Prey, to clarify what it does, and I revised Thaumavore's Gastromancy to be more in-line with the spell casting of other classes.
Though not really germane to the game, my 9 year old niece asked if she could play Megaman in D&D. I was about to try to explain why she couldn't do that, when her 21 year old step-brother said, 'Sure, play a warforged cannibal.' The image that popped into my head was pretty far from Megaman, but he's not wrong...
Re: There are, but that's still a sizable 3-story drop after that. Plus, there's not a lot of clearance between the bag and where you would land.
Here's the plan. Eclipse is no longer keeping a height advantage, just giving the Hungry Sky enough clearance to pass without colliding or being within reach of its animated rigging. As soon as he sees the Pixie, he'll grab one of the Word's loose ropes, swing to the other ship exactly when it is level with the Word, and with his other hand, wield his gravity rapier to slice any of the animated ropes the Hungry Sky will no doubt send his way. When he is at the apogee of the swing, Theena must jump onto Eclipse's rope with him (both Eclipse's hands will be busy), and they can swing back to the Reaver's Word together. As soon as he gets back to the wheel, Eclipse will yell to Tyrod to kick the hop-jumper and get out of reach of the Sky. Then at the top of the hop, set sail at top speed for the clouds and try to lose the cursed ship if it pursues. Does this seem physically possible, even if it will require good rolls to execute?

Well Laitraxa might have just modified or complicated that plan by dragoning at the thing.
Many patients have developed side effects of applying dragon to the thing, to include burning, flailing, corroding, or all around panic. If these side effects last more than four hours, seek the attention of your local cleric of Bahamut immiedietly.
This is for side-topics and clarifications.

I did intend that it not be literal, but anything along the same lines.
Thanks for setting this up.

Probably best to keep one per set of PCs. We can keep the main thread clear of ooc chatter that way.

By the way, Bunni, I did not expect that we would end up fighting a sentient demonic airship. This is way more cool than simply dunking some orcs :D
