Kiya takes the Dodge action. One vulture moves into melee with Kiya and the last one waddles after Horxik.
Vulture 2 attacks Kiya: Attack: 3 Damage: 2

"A rightful place awaits you in the Realms Above, in the Land of the Great Light. Come in peace, and live beneath the sun again, where trees and flowers grow."
— The message of Eilistraee to all decent drow.
"Run thy sword across my chains, Silver Lady, that I may join your dance.”
Seeing the first vulture go down so quickly, Horxik realizes that these birds likely don't have a lot of strength in them and although he does start to bleed from the nip that he gets from the one that attacked him, he confidently swings his mace down at the bird's head to finish it once and for all.
The four of you enter the massive 80 foot by 80 foot chamber and notice all the alcoves along each wall and realize the magnitude of just how large this crypt actually is, it must go for a while into the mountain itself. There is also a more decorative archway at the far end of the chamber.
(Remember your light sources only illuminate out to their range, but since you're moving around and exploring the room you can map it's size even though some of the room will always be in shadows... unless you spread out to light every corner?)

(For reference, everything is at least dimly illuminated by Kralog's torch.)

There are about 8 archways along each wall spaced roughly 10 feet apart from each other and resemble alcoves at first but upon closer inspection they each lead off down a corridor. At the far end is an archway that leads through a relatively short 20 foot hallway.
(I have Loyal as the only one who remained outside and the rest of you in the 2nd chamber, the one with all the archways. (8 per side) Is this correct or does anyone want to be somewhere else?)

Evre is in the main room. She’s going to head towards the archway at the end (straight ahead) first. She searches for anything unusual (traps, secret doors, etc)
You don't notice any traps as you near the decorative archway opposite the entrance to this chamber. This archway opens to a 20 foot hallway. At the end it descends down some stairs about 20 feet.
Each of the other 16 archways (8 per side) lead off into corridors drowned in darkness. (You can see down each as far a your light source allows, nothing for the 1st 20 feet and then a sarcophagi every 10 feet. Some corridors are longer than others depending on how big that branch of the family was.)

I'll go down the main corridor with Evre. The coffins may have some loot, but the main passage is bound to have more.

Praeda stays near the back of the group head heading down the main corridor and searches for anything unusual.
The short 20 foot hallway ends at a set of stairs that lead 20 feet down. At the bottom of the stairs in a 10 foot hallway that ends in a thick oaken door banded with 3 inches of iron near the top and bottom.
Some of you are pretty sure there are no trip wires or pressure plates, your confidence that you are safe from traps begins to grow as you notice that this crypt seems pristine in condition, it just suffers from centuries of neglect.
