As mentioned in the original post, this was a both save or both fall scenario.
It wasn't much damage anyway, as you both land prone at the bottom of the 20 foot pit and take 6 bludgeoning damage.
There is the corpse of some poor individual adventurer from ages past who was also unfortunate enough to have fallen victim to this trap. Loyal comes to rest with his hand on the dead man's backpack, which has almost rotted away. And Horxik has something poking uncomfortably against his back.
(When you each get your wits about you again, the item Loyal's hand is on, and the item poking into Horxik's back are both magical items, you may select an item from the common or uncommon lists, if you're unsure about whether something is allowed, just ask, I'm allowing most generic magic items, just nothing specific or unique.)
Also at this time you can all level up to level 3.
*Would goggles of night be generic?*

“Hi Loyal, I am glad you joined us in this place and aren’t seriously hurt. My mentor would have said thanks for dropping in.. . Who is the newcomer, and how did they track us down?”
(OOC maybe refresh descriptions for newcomers).
As the two reach the top you see a beautiful blonde human woman with grey eyes, a lantern by her side. She’s wearing a somewhat tattered and bloodstained traveling cloak and carries a long staff, several belt pouches and a backpack. A short, dark broom also is at her side, attached to her belt in the place a fighter would carry a sword. A tiny dark owl sits on one of her shoulders.

Kralog is a goliath that stands almost eight feet tall. He has stone-grey skin and pale blue, almost silver eyes. He's seemingly unharmed and wears plaintive clothes, wielding a winged staff in his thick hands. His demeanor is one of amusement, and though he portrays himself as uncaring, he seems to care about the rest of the group.

"A rightful place awaits you in the Realms Above, in the Land of the Great Light. Come in peace, and live beneath the sun again, where trees and flowers grow."

"Run thy sword across my chains, Silver Lady, that I may join your dance.”
You are all currently in the main chamber, there is the exit and opposite that the hallway leading to Vrexnus' chamber. Along each side are 8 archways, so 16 in total, with passages of varying length leading to other burial sites and final resting places of elves who have been entombed here.
The crypt is many centuries old and in it's heyday was the crypt of a prominent elven clan. it has since been lost to the ravages of time but that has not diminished it's size, only the state of things that remain. The elves do things on a grand scale it would seem, at least if you judge by the size of this crypt.
(If you want, this could take several trips or visits to clear the entire crypt? Or you could attempt it in one go.)
