The creature Edgar watches hovers at the tree line and watches intently. After 30 minutes or so he wanders off into the forest. The heavy tree cover makes it hard then impossible for Edgar to continue to track him and eventually he is lost and out of sight.
Your pool experience continues into the evening. The sun sets and the blank night sky looms over you ominously. You enjoy your mojitos with Jarlaxle and he continues to make not so subtle advances on the ladies as the conversation continues.
Between the water and drinks you feel very good and time passes. As it does you start to see subtle but noticeable differences in each of you. Any wrinkles or scars you have start to fade and your skin is restored to a perfect canvas. The grey's from your hair start to fade then disappear as do the dark circles around your eyes. You don't feel younger, the aches and pains of time and battle are still with you but you certainly are starting to look younger.
Daventry your new tattoos continue to ache and burn but it's not so bad, thankfully it doesn't really get any worse.
After the sun sets Jarlaxle looks to the ladies, "Well I think it is time I retired for the evening. A chill has come across the water and I yearn for the warmth of my bed. Shall expect you both to join me."The drow looks very presumptively at Daventry and Triäsa.

“I see I see.” Pardot says, then takes a second as if thinking of something. He then adds, “Is there much to do at night here? It seems quite quiet.”Then once the drow responds he likely replies saying something like ‘ahh… interesting.’ even if not really interested… But then makes his way over on his current to Ludolf where he gets himself a drink and pulls himself up to the side of the pool and leans back to soak in some sun, sipping on the drink he mentally sends to his friend, “From earlier… It’s quite hard to say really. I just…. Get the feeling that something is wrong here. Seth just wasn’t right. Though it’s hard to say how exactly. I also think I saw a face in the mist earlier… Anyway, we should take the time to relax, and we are here to help Fistandia, but everything is not quite as it seems.”
(Sorry I missed your post earlier was replying from mobile)
Jarlaxe replies in a rather predictable manner, "There is plenty to do here at night." He raises a creepy eyebrow and looks at the ladies, "but it all goes on behind closed doors... it is not so quiet if you are doing it correctly."

Unlike most people, Pardot doesn't view losing his wrinkles (of which some are beginning to appear, as he is nearing middle aged), scars, or grey hairs, as a positive thing, but is curious now to learn more of the magic here, and to keep an eye on his, and his companions appearance to see if those things return over time or not.

figured as much, which is why I had Pardot mostly just dismiss it and move over to Ludolf
"Ah, your reputation's led far from where you tread your boots, Jarlaxle. Heard tales even in the swamps of Wierwood or the isles of Moonshae... sailor like you'll have many a story to tell. Though..."As Daventry is speaking, she slides close to Triasa, cozying up as a close friend would. She hands Triasa one of the drinks, the other in her hand.
"... stories all say how Jarlaxle, hardened against the worst sun and storm that the Sea of Swords could toss at him, would stand tall over all threats, before retiring to the Two-Eyed Jax Inn. What grand stories you must have!"
At the points where she says 'hardened', 'tall', and the inn name, she taps Triasa's foot with her own.
Triasa takes the drink as Daventry offers it. "Thank you very much," she says. While she certainly appreciates the gesture, she immediate is curious at her friend's behavior. When Dav taps her foot, she gives Daventry a bit closer glance, not quite following the meaning.
As the time passes she continues to talk with Jarlaxle, trying to figure out more about him and what Daventry was trying to indicate. (Insight: 12)
"So, is there anything else you can say about this Seth? I can see for myself he's not quite right in the head walking around dressed like that but I suppose it is not that you are referring to." Ludolf mentally responds to Pardot.
As Edgar looses sight of the dragonborn he returns to a tree within sight of the pool to keep a general lookout. Perception: 18
Ludolf would continue to stay on his stool, watching the drow claiming to be this famous Jarlaxle with great suspicion. Not knowing the first thing about how to approach a woman himself he is a little bit nervous about Dav and Tri actually falling for this man's not so subtle advances.
Realizing after a while as he takes a sip of his very nice drink, of which he has a few, that the wrinkles on his hand has disappeared Ludolf looks at his hazy reflection in the water noticing he seems...younger. His first thought is that the pool actually is a fountain of youth of sorts, having brief thoughts about getting back so many lost years, but then he realizes his body feels the same and that this must be something superficial, maybe even an illusion, which only makes him more suspicious of everything with this place. He would discreetly check the wrinkles on his hand to see if it also feels like they are gone.
As the drow invites Dav and Tri to his bed Ludolf finally has had it with the drow's lewd ways. "You shall expect no such thing drow." He says in a threatening tone, standing in the pool to face the drow, his gray piercing eyes locked onto the drows. "Unlike you we are here to save a life and the only reason we are here in this pool is that we are waiting for the sisters to give us an audience in the morning. In a place like this I'm sure you will find other company in your bed. Good night Jarlaxle!" He says as if telling the drow that he is unveiled. Intimidation: 11
Dav moves in to whisper something in Triasa's ear before the drow's proposition and Ludolf's explosion, her attempt to be sly missed. She cups a hand over Triasa's ear. "This guy's lying through his teeth. Not sure his game yet."
After Ludolf's explosion in anger, Daventry glares at him. "Ludolf, it's fine. He can certainly imply whatever he wants, and we can certainly be big girls and say no, not a chance. I don't need ya policin' where I end up at night." She looks at the drow. "Not that this is the famed Jarlaxle. Too short, and he'd know the name of his own inn given that its named after his famous eye-patch of mystery."
"So what's yer game, drow, or is it as base as it appears?"
As the focus shifts to the drow, and who is is not, Pardot turns his attention towards the conversation as well, setting his (still first and only) drink down to see what he can gleam from what is said.
Ludolf eyes widen at Daventry's glare, then giving her a quick apologetic look before floating back to his stool on the other side of Triäsa. He certainly knew Dav and Tri could look after themselves but the drows behaviour was so infuriating to him. He kept watching the drow closely on how he would react to Daventry confronting him with lying about who he was.
Daventry feels the bit of ache and sizzle in her brands and looks discomforted. Deciding she's had enough of the pool for now she hops up on the edge, grabbing one of the towels left by the attendants to turn off the show for the drow, and hopefully feels some relief with her markings out of the water. She spares a glance at her brands between eyeing down the creeper drow.
Triäsa nods to Daventry as she whispers to her, her eyes glancing at the drow. Later, as Ludolf angrily denounces the drow, she watched in silence, a slight smile on her face.
Her only response is to the false-Jarlaxle. "As my friend said, we can certainly decide for ourselves. For my part, your expectations will certainly not be met. There are far warmer beds I would choose."
(Sorry had a busy day and a half... baseball season here in Georgia spend alot of time at the park with my son on the weekends)
As Daventry's accusations cut through the cool night air but the drow remains composed at the sudden change in demeanor. He whirls to face the ladies with a calm face. "I have never heard such baseless accusations and I will not stand to have my good name dragged through the mud." He shuffles for the nearest towel and covers himself, "My game, as it were, is to have a good time and share that good time with a grateful women, not some common tavern wench. You may think what you will but I will find more suitable company for this evening. Enjoy your stay.... perhaps you could see if the sisters can fix your manners." Done with the conversation he leaves quickly back inside.
Pardot -- You see the man breaks into a subtle sweat when confronted. He is clearly uncomfortable at Daventry's accusations as they seem to have hit close to home. His pride seems wounded as lofts his weak insults and retreats inside.
Once the drow has departed, Triäsa quickly moves out of the pool, strolling over to where her robe was set. "Were you getting out Ludolf?" she asks as she grabs her robe and wraps it around herself. She turns to look back at him. "I could bring you your robe if you wish."
"So what do you suppose that man was all about? Is pretending to be Jarlaxle part of the 'personal improvement' he is going for here?" She looks around at the others. "This place seems more and more strange the longer we're here." She is still holding her glass that Daventry had handed her, still half-full. For a moment she glances around the area. (Perception: 19) "Is it just us here now?" she asks.
With a content smile Ludolf observes the drow leaving the pool but then his eyes widen again as the drow starts with his insults, almost expecting Daventry to throw him back into the pool again.
"Um, thanks Triäsa, I think perhaps I'll stay a bit longer in here." Ludolf says with a weak smile from the pool, still not completely comfortable with being naked in front of the team it seems. "We should perhaps try to get some dinner though?"
"Hah. He probably has tried that routine on many an unsuspecting maiden, most of who haven't even seen a drow. Sadly, I bet it works."
Daventry looks to Pardot. "Seems like you have no issue going back to the old natural way... Maybe we need to get one of the rooms in the mansion done up like this? Put a spa in the sky observation room?"
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"Clothing does keep you warm and safe from the sun, but when it's not needed... well... natural is comfortable no?"Pardot says with a grin and a shrug. Then in response to Triäsa says, "I think so." though quickly looks around to be sure ((perception 23)). Assuming he feels safe being alone he then lowers his voice and says to the team as a whole. "Though this place is clearly relaxing and healing,"looking to his skin tightening and rejuvenating, "there is something just not quite right here. I can't quite put my finger on it, but I'm unable to relax with this feeling. There also is a strange building with covered windows just back that way," pointing over the buildings. "Finally, and maybe the drink is too strong, though I still haven't finished even this first, I heard a voice telling me to come back here later, alone. It didn't seem nefarious though so I'll come prowl back later."
"Also, Edgar noticed a very small and withered dragonborn in the treeline spying on us. Maybe it has been a former visitor of this place where any sought effects have been reversed somehow and now it contacts Pardot to tell him about it?" Ludolf suggests from the pool in a lowered voice. "Do we still think this place has a cure for Fistandia or should we perhaps see what we can do to unveil any other deceptions this place still holds?"He continues, looking at the others.
