Seeing the Goblins fell the halfling, Gelin yells towards one of the Goblins in the bushes, "How does it feel knowing that you'll die without even a footnote in this tale?" Casting Vicious Mockery (WIS DC13) for 2 Psychic damage and disadvantage on next attack on failed save.
He'll hop off the cart running towards the same Goblin he mocked with battleaxe drawn while singing an improvised song to Cyranair,
"When Cyranair runs to the fray, Most smart goblins will run away, With a sword and a shield Most opponents just yield Seeing friends fall, his hand will not stay."
Casting Bardic Inspiration (d6) as a bonus action on Cyranair.

Note to everyone: If you hold your action for an event to happen, you can only use your action. You do not get a move and a bonus action when holding actions. (In Gelin's case, I will let it slide, but moving forward, if you are going to hold your action but want to do a bonus before hand, please post that, so I know.
12 The Goblin hears the voice of Gelin over the battlefield, and although you get the sense it does not speak basic, the magical words still have the potential to hurt it. In this case though, the goblin shakes its head and angrily looks toward the dwarf that just insulted it. Looking back at its goblin compatriot who no longer has a head, it is not sure who to attack next, but the looming threat of the paladin in front of it is definitely cause for fear.
I cant believe how well these goblins are rolling....

Hearing the poem composed just for him Cyranair he doesn't stops and swings his sword trying to decapitate the goblin that still threatens the wounded halfling.
He tries to put himself between Carodoc and the goblin.
Frandal, I don't think it's actually quite your turn yet. We're still waiting on Baryeras to start the first actual round. Everything else since Dpad posted the initiative order has just been resolving the surprise round. Unless I'm just totally misunderstanding how the post progression is going...

I think this is where we are:
Surprise round: (Baryeras and Goblins only). Baryeras missed and Carodoc went down.
Second Round: Normal order (Baryeras - Ranged Attack + move, Gelin - Vicious Mockery, Caradoc - death save, Goblins (Move, Hide), Morgan - Toll the Dead, Frixori - Eldritch Blast + Healing Light, Cyrnair - Melee attack).
Third Round:
So I think we're ready for Baryeras' 3rd round shot
Eshuvenniel Kazander Ravid,Valor Bard and Acolyte of the Goddess of Luck Caradoc Langham, Halfling Rogue - Lost Magics - Epic of Pre-made Proportions! I'm not looking for heaven or hell... just someone to listen to stories I tell...

Yep I was waiting to my turn to come up but then I saw the DM post and get confused... and wasn’t sure if he wanted all our actions and the post the whole turn... I am sorry if I made a mistake and will adjust the turn accordingly or just miss it entierily if the DM feels it’s appropiate :)
Baryeras looses two arrows (1 from 1st round, 1 from 2nd). The first arrow misses, but the second slams into the archer goblins shoulder, but is not quite enough to kill it. (Gelin is up next)
Is anyone else picturing a dwarf dressed like Tom Bombadil and dancing around the battlefield while singing? Because that's what I'm seeing here, and I'm loving it.

Goblin roll:19
The goblin hears the insult once again, but this time, the words take hold. You watch as the already wounded goblin hangs its head sadly, it drops its bow, walks off 5 feet and curls in a ball. You watch as it’s life drains away from it as it’s self deprecation overwhelms it and it stops having the will to live.
(OOC: Carodoc is up next. You are prone so you have 1/2 movement. There is only 2 goblins left and they are both 30 feet away in the bushes. No one is currently flanking them.)

The first arrow struck Caradoc in the chest as he straightened up from looking for tracks. He dropped the arrow and the map case and grasped the shaft gingerly, his eyes wide. I think someone's still here... he started to think to himself.
Then something heavy slammed into his back and knocked him over. He kept falling and falling and falling...
In his dream, he raced alongside a plump and jolly young halfling dressed in a smart leather jerkin, silk shirt, and light cotton breeches. "It's not safe for you out here without some armor! Look what happened to me!" Caradoc cried out, but the other fellow just laughed and skipped and jumped away. Next to appear was a strange apparition cloaked and hooded in red and limned in radiance. He stopped short and tried to hide, but found that he couldn't move! His eyes were fixed on the glow radiating from under the hood - his tongue frozen fast to the roof of his mouth and body trembling as the figure came closer and closer. "Is it death? Really? How unlucky is this??"
The figure pulled back its hood and the scream died in Caradoc's chest. Why... you're not terrifying at all... you're lovely as an angel! His eyes opened wide in awe as a mark on the angel's face glowed and his chest was strangely warmed.
The halfling's eyes flutter open and he sits up from where he was laying on his left side. He tastes blood and grass and earth and reaches up to wipe his mouth -- and then gasps as he remembers! He looks around wildly, and sees Cyrnair place himself between the goblin and the halfling. Still sitting on his butt, he grabs his shortbow and snatches up the arrow off the ground, nocking it and readying to shoot the goblin when it whimpers and lays down! Then he's seized by another strange warm sensation, warmer and warmer, that almost-but-not-quite-scalding heat of a perfect hot bath after a long day working the ferry, and the arrow that was in his back falls to the ground. He crawls away from Cyrnair towards the other end of the gap between the horses and rises up to one knee, an arrow ready to shoot from hiding at the next live goblin he sees!

Carodoc fires his bow from a save position. Though the goblins are under partial cover, he still manages to catch the goblin to the south in the heart through the bushes and it drops to the ground bleeding out.
Seeing the ambush is turning badly for the goblins, the north goblin drops it’s bow and uses a dash action to start fleeing into the woods. It gets 40 feet away from the party, as running through the gnarled woods is considered rough terrain.
Frixori let’s loose her sacred flame and a burst of radiant fire starts to form a round the goblin. 11 you can hear thr goblin yip in pain as it takes some of the radiant burst of damage from the flame.
I need actions from Cyr and Morgan yet for this round. There is only the fleeing goblin left. It is about 60 feet away from both of you now, as it was already about 30 feet away, and it used a dash action, but it isn’t running through rough terrain and it is headed in a northwestern direction, almost parallel to you instead of straight away from you into the woods. (I am working on maps for the next encounter.)

Reaching out with her mind to locate the fleeing goblin, Morgan's mouth begins to move in a series of arcane words that no one nearby would understand even if they could hear them. She casts Dissonant Whispers, targeting the goblin, since it's within 60 feet of her and can hear. Wisdom Save, DC14, or it takes 7 psychic damage.
If at all possible, since it's psychic damage, Morgan would try to make it non-lethal. Just enough to knock the goblin unconscious if the damage is high enough. She'd like to capture it for questioning if at all possible, but otherwise doesn't want it to escape and bring more fellows back.

Morgon's opinion of Gelin goes up ever so slightly after hearing his song to Cyrnair, considering that it was composed in the heat of the moment.
I love it when someone playing a bard actually does things like that. I know I'd definitely have a tough time with it.
Just don't start thinking that's enough to make up for manhandling Hrogar. :p

Baryeras looses two arrows (1 from 1st round, 1 from 2nd). The first arrow misses, but the second slams into the archer goblins shoulder, but is not quite enough to kill it. (Gelin is up next)
Gelin continues to make his way towards the same goblin, continuing to hurl insults, "I'd call you stupid, but I'm not sure you know that word."
Casting Vicious Mockery (WIS DC13) 4 Psychic damage and disadvantage on next attack on failed save.
He then turns to Carodoc, singing,
"Down you went when arrows fell,
I hope this song makes you well"
Casting Healing Word on the halfling for 5 as a bonus action
OOC: Its much easier to come up with creative songs in PbP, that's for sure.
