Boomi gives up on the map. "This map is useless let's just go north, bet there is hops and treasure in the mountains over yonder. Now yall gather round."
Boomi pulled everyone in and says a quick prayer to Moradin.
"All father protect us on this trip into the wood and may you guide us to Dumathoin's treasures" Boomi casts Aid on the party. For the next 8 hr everyone has 5 temporary hitpoints.
With that the group sets off North along one of the main paths out if the city. Not too far out from the city the group passes a small caravan. The caravan master approaches the group. He is an older man that looks like he has seen a battle recently.

Caravan master: do yall know of the region in the forest like a sea with the flying fish?

Caravan Guard: we were attacked by some goblins on the road near there. They made off with some of our goods. Most of it don't matter but they got some documents we where to deliver to a merchant in town. Return those documents to me and you can keep whatever else you find.
Boomi looks at the rest. And says "I think we can do that."

"A couple of Goblins eh? sounds like a good work out" says Twig as he cracks his knuckles "Sure, I'll tussle with those goblins to get the man's documents"

I think the hp from Aid is a temporary increase to your hp maximum not temporary hp, it can be healed back and you can still stack temp hp on top of it

I think the hp from Aid is a temporary increase to your hp maximum not temporary hp, it can be healed back and you can still stack temp hp on top of it
That's correct it is an temp increase to the hp max. I'll post the text for my spells to make sure there is no confusion
Caravan Master: " I'm not sure we killed them most but beware of the big one he has a horn he can use to call others. Good luck Gentlemen." The caravan master then gallops away catching up with his wagon train.
The party moves on up the trail towards the area the caravan master mentioned as they get closer boom there bony and twig start to realize something is off. Twig looks up and sees a Murder of crows circling the area around the next bend.
"Agreed there be death up ahead. On ye guard lads"
As the party rounds the bend they come onto a scene of carnage there are 10 to 15 dead goblins with 2 or 3 dead humans among them. 60' down the trail is a large goblin that points at the party says something no one understands and 1 understands and then blows a horn.
Three goblins just out from the trees 20 feet of the road to the right. They shoot arrows at the party. Goblin 2 and 3 will then draw clubs and charge the group.
Ricdak you are too focused on the goblin boss and are surprised. And will have disadvantaged on your dex save.
Every give me a dex save for the arrows and roll Initiative.

Twig roars as he runs towards a goblin and when he reaches it he jumps up into the air, summons his astral arms and slams them on the ground as he lands next to the goblin causing a wave of force energy to erupt towards the goblin

He then folds his arms and punches the goblin with his astral arms
His astral arms are blue transluscent and look like the arms of a large creature, the astral shoulders align with his shoulders and float around them and have the same tattoos as himself, but they are much bigger than his real
