As you pause for a moment, you notice the three surviving glasswork golems slowly retreat back into their window frames. The northwest turret remains windowless, its golem shattered on the floor.
A question remains – how to leave this tower? There are no exits on this floor, except for a small balcony overlooking the Court of Storms.
Pud puts on the excitedly puts on the bracers, but his excitement quickly fades as he realizes what these things do.
"Rats! These dumb things are useless for me!...they look cool though.
Hey, Titaani! Want these bracers? They'll prolly work better for you than me."
IF Titaani wants the bracer's he'll happily give them to her
...
As the group mills about trying to figure out what to do, Pud checks out the statue in the middle of the room. He looks for any inscriptions, seams on the joints of the limbs or hands. He even inspects the floor to see if there are any signs that this statue has been moved.

A highly realistic statue of an unarmored elf stands in front of the throne. The statue is posed as if ready for battle, with a shortsword gripped tightly in each of her hands. The shortswords are real, as is her clothing, and the hand crossbow strapped to her stone arm.
It has no pedestal or base, no inscription, and shows no indication of being moved.
"Interesting statue. It's so detailed and lifelike. The clothing and weapons are real. I wonder if this isn't a statue, but a real person who was turned into stone as they were protecting whoever sat on the throne.
I'm gonna try to detect anything magical in the room. See if it gives us any clues"
Pud casts detect magic as a ritual and searches the area for any magical signatures.

"Thanks Pud!" Titaani responds to the artificer, excitedly strapping on the bracers. She double checks Tiny, and, satisfied he's alright, settles down beside him. She allows herself a moment to just breathe, running her hands through his white fur and recovering her strength.
Titaani gets up and stretches. "Oki doki. We need to figure out how to get out of this tower."
She walks out onto the balcony and points to the stairs leading back to the kitchen and the vine covered tower. "I could teleport two of us there. I don't know how everyone else would get out though."
Ben leads up to the level with the door that has the single lock, saying, “I’m not sure what is in here or if there is any path down to the rest of the castle, but it is worth a try.”

Ben leads them back up two floors to the third level of the central tower, to the double door sealed with another hart crown lock. (Does Titaani want to expend her 7th charge of the chime to unlock it?)
Bzzzzooooonnnnnnnngggggg. The chime issues a clean, reverberating tone that stands your hair on end. *click* The door unlocks. (Chime use 7/10 expended.)
Opening the door, you find that the walls, floor, and ceiling of the windowless room within are made of white marble tiles. In the middle of the room, a quill with a feather sheathed in flame and a black-covered book rest on an iron lectern. The room is otherwise unoccupied, and has no other exits.

Ben:
”Of course, if we need some time to rest first that should be done,” agrees Ben.

Pud looks over the gear.
“Hmm…these bracers are kinda neat.” He taps them quickly to see if anything happens. “I think I’ll take these.”
Pud pulls off the braces and slips them on his wrists.

Horatio takes a short rest while the others investigate the room.
Matilda leans up against the wall and rests for a bit.
( If a Short Rest is available she'll get her Action Surge back. otherwise just relax a bit.)
"Thanks Pud!" Titaani responds to the artificer, excitedly strapping on the bracers. She double checks Tiny, and, satisfied he's alright, settles down beside him. She allows herself a moment to just breathe, running her hands through his white fur and recovering her strength.
(short rest?)
Pud examines the Throne Room with new eyes.
The stone elf's body gives off Transmutation magic, but her clothing (she wears no armor), her short sword, and her hand crossbow do not.
The Throne is non-magical.
Kelek's staff and bracers are magical (not his dagger), as are Warduke's longsword and helm (not his armor nor shield.)
The three stained-glass knights (now back in their windows) are certainly magical.
That is all Pud sees here.
All remains quiet. If you choose to take the full Short Rest, you may do so.

Where to? What next?
