Well, there's the map Zale has. Some documents on the floor, and the little room to the north.
The map is a simple one of the Greenfields area showing the villages the cult attacked and looted. An arrow is sketched in from the Greenfields toward the west and the town of Beregost on the Trade Way, where the arrow turns north.
If anyone wants to look through the documents scattered on the floor roll an Investigation check.
The smaller chamber off the main one contains a bed and two trunks.
"We look at what we have got, I'd say" Khessa replies. "The arrow on the map... might point to where they sent the loot! We could try to investigate. But while we are here, let's check this documents also..."
After having checked the documents, Khessa enters the other room, the one with the bed and the trunks, and declares: "There are so many traps in this place... If you allow me, I'll try to discover if the trucks are protected with magic"
The blonde arcane warrior, then, like she did in Tiamat's temple, starts a mystical, rythmic chant, attuning herself to the Weave until she is able to sense the threads of magic all around...

Anyway nothing magical in this room. But one thing catches your attention: a little evocation ping on Zale.
"The trunks are not protected by magic" announces Khessa. "Would you like to check them for mechanical threats, Zale? There could be something useful or interesting inside!"
"Oh and by the way, Zale, dear," she adds, perplexed "you know that you have a feeble evocation aura on you right? I mean... Not because I want to know everything of you... I just want to be sure you've not got affected by some magical trap we don't know of!"
Nixi watches with satisfaction as the mystic projectiles leave her wand and streak across to the Cult Leader, slamming into her chest in a shower of sparks. As the woman crumples to the ground, Nixi will rush over to try and hear any last words she might whisper (Nixi speaks Draconic). As the woman expires, Nixi will search her for anything of interest, such as potions, spellbooks, jewelry, weapons. As the others rush off to fight the guards, Nixi will take a small detour into the side room, and check it out as well, searching for anything that might aid them in their quest, or simply add to their wealth.
Investigation 25
You may have missed the second half of this post.
Nixi, already in the small room, will attempt to open the trunks. (If she detected no traps with her investigation)
After blindly smacking into Khessa, Zale stumbles backwards, "Oh uh sorry, I suppose we be to late to get those goons. Ah well." Sheathing her rapier, she makes her way back to the room. As Khessa looks through the other papers, Zale opens the map back up, looking for anything of interest.
Investigation: 12
When Khessa mentions sensing magic on her, she thinks for a moment before remembering the thing in her satchel. "Oh, that's probably just this." She pulls out a large red earring. "We used the other one already. If ye throw it, it'll explode." She then puts it away, "Heh heh, no traps here... At least I don't think so." She shrugs and goes back to searching the room.

Right! The trunks are neither locked nor trapped. One contain Mondath’s clothes, and the second trunk contains Mondath’s Cult of the Dragon regalia and a key.

Zale finds a sheet of paper that is covered with numerals in columns contains the note, “Everything must be freighted north to Naerytar. Rezmir allowed us to keep some pearls, a ring, and a handful of small stones.”
Eric mumbles "at least some informations that could be useful start to emerge, a map in which an arrow is sketched in from the Greenfields toward the west, and we got some possible new targets of the Cult, Beregost. they mentioned another name, Naerytar. Maybe Leosin could help us in putting all together and he may also have more useful information himself"
Nixi will take the cult regalia and the key. When she catches up to the others, she will offer the cultist robes to Khessa. "You might use this as a disguise.."

"Let me try them..." Khessa tries to don the red robe, so excited that she forgets that someone might catch a glimpse (or more) of her while changing clothes.
Can she fit? Or was Frulam too small or too flat?
If she can fit, Khessa tries for now to go around with that clothes on and, looking at herself in the mirror in the room: "What do you think, people? I'm looking pretty in red?" she smiles, while fixing her long wavy hairs "Anyway, we shall see if with these clothes on I can fool someone. At least, maybe that from distance the cultist will believe I might be one of them bringing mercenaries... and so they will avoid attacking us on sight! The cultist that we did not meet already, that is".
If she can't, she will of course revert to her clothes, maybe keeping the cultist's to sell at the first opportunity.
Anyway, she is ready to resume the exploration: "Now... shall we take a look at the next room, the one the guards came from?"
Ok, so be it, we can't reach them. Back to the room exsmining what's inside and searching for anything of interest.

Kriv stands, staring at his axe. The tentacle loses shape until only a puddle is left in its place. “What now?”

(OOC: Casting Detect Magic as ritual)
Khessa finds some papers, these aren't of interest; most of them have bad poetry about dragons.
Player: Any Good Alignment // DM: Lawful Evil
"Oh, those papers could be of real interest..." comments Khessa ironically "...for the untalented drunken kobold bard who composed them".
What about the other room? Can she detect magic in there?
Missed this post! Sorry!

Let's just say with your previous casting you would know that nothing will "ping" there.

((Actually, I forgot all about the magic item Zale has, but didn't mention to Khessa. So you have noticed it back in the other room))

(Oh, OK, I edit my previous post then. Thank you, I was worrying a little)
