The guards fire at the fleeing Hobgoblin: 14 + 3 = 17 to hit (miss), 15 + 3 = 18 to hit for 5 + 1 = 6 dmg and 4 + 3 = 7 to hit (miss). The 2nd guard kills it!
After the last hobgoblin has been disposed of, Khessa goes to make sure of the conditions of the ex-besieged: "You can come out! There is no more danger - at least not immediate" she tries to smile, to play down how hospitable the territory is through which the caravan is now traveling. "How are you? Are any of you injured? I'm Khessa, by the way," she introduces herself, holding out her hand, once she gets close enough "nice to meet you".
The blonde arcane warrior's blue eyes observe her interlocutors with curiosity, while she thinks: 'I wonder why they didn't travel in a larger group... Maybe they could join us, now, anyway…we'd all be safer'.
DM: I just have noticed Eric needs two platinum rings as component for spell (50gp). Could had he be able to buy it in Baldurs Gate? In case he would have bought some raw material and have used artisan blessing to craft them.

Quick! We need a Healer! One of the guards yells out. As you get closer you see that the horses are they had are dead and the merchant is bleeding to death.

That wouldn't be a probleem in Baldur's Gate. Just subtract the appropriate amount from you gp.
"Eric!" Khessa calls, with worried voice and concern in her blue eyes, the dwarf cleric "Hurry! Here! We need you!"
As soon as her friend comes she quickly points to the poor fellow that is bleeding to death and bows on the wounded, ready to assist, if needed, but thinking, confidently: 'Eric can heal with the strength of his faith... this poor merchant will be saved in no time. Innocent people die too often already; but not today and not this one; this poor fellow will be saved!'
When Eric sees the bleeding merchant, he promptly murmurs a single word of prayer, a brief sparkles of light comes form Eric's hands and lay on the merchant; casting Healing Word
Witnessing the miracolous healing, Khessa smiles brightly at Eric: "Thanks dear!"
The blonde arcane warrior tries to assess how badly wounded the merchant still is (if he still is): "Welcome back to life!" she smiles at him "How are you feeling now? Can you stand? You are safe, now, anyway. Your aggressors are no more. You'll be fine".
'But he will still have the problem of his dead horses...' thinks the tall adventuress.
There is someone in the caravan that could lend or sell horses to this merchant, as far as Khessa knows?
"I barely had the time to speak and you were at it already..." smiles Khessa, passing an arm on the dwarf shoulders, now that he has come near "It is obviously not only a matter of duty, but of good heart!"
Zeminny will say quite loudly ( so the boss can hear) “ these fine people should have hired awesome guards like us. Easily worth the 10sp per day.”
then he will loot the hobgoblin bodies, in particular the captain, looking for evidence like maps, troop position, notes of plans and of course money pouches and quality weapons. investigation: 8
Calvin watches as Eric uses his magic to heal others through the power of a word. He on the other hand had the limitation of having to physically touch another to heal them. As he regards the power that Eric has in comparison to his own, he feels a stab of jealousy in his stomach.
This feel causes him to think about his position within the team. He has abilities that allow him to do a lot, but it feels like someone else can do it better.

[There isn't a horse seller or something like that. But you assume someone was smart enough to bring spares.]
*cough* *cough* Thank you! Thank you my friends! My name is Samardag! The Human merchants replies. How can I repay you? Pray, tell me the names of my saviors!

The captain is adorned with wolf furs and other wolf parts and icons adrons his armor and clothing. You find a bloody sack amongst his possesions. It contains a severed head, it has pointy ears.
You also find 12 silver a greatsword and a javalin.

"Pleasure to meet you, Samadag!" Khessa smiles "I'm Khessa and this bearded angel who brought you back from death's door is Eric. Don't worry, we are not asking you to repay anything, you were in need, we helped, that's all. We would all live in a better world, won't we, if we all cared from each other? You'll need your money to buy new horses. Probably someone of our caravan brought spares. Then you'd likely be safer joining us and traveliing with us".

Thank you Khessa and Eric! And your other friends! I will never forget what you've done for me! It might be a good idea to join your caravan, haha! I'l need those horses anyway!
Samardag buys some horses for outrageous prices from other merchants. However he seems happy to pay up. Looking at his merchandise... Perhaps someone who hauls crates of expensive, fragile porcelain in a bouncing, jarring wagon along the Trade Way must be a born optimist. In the days that follow you get the know him better. Odds are he would be a wealthy man if he hung onto his money, but he is a soft touch for every urchin and hard-luck story that crosses his path. In Samardag’s world, the sky is always blue, the weather is always fine, and the outlook for tomorrow is always bright. Others call him Samardag the Hoper.
She can, good to know.

You bite Hobgoblin E for 3 dmg and it's now grappled.
It's now the Hobgoblin's turn. Hobgoblin C makes a run for it, using it's action to dash (it's now about 70 ft away from Khessa).
Hobgoblin E tries to attack the croc on his leg: 5 + 3 = 8 to hit and I'm pretty sure that misses.
Player: Any Good Alignment // DM: Lawful Evil
That would be the Hobgoblin with the croc attached to his leg. Somehow he avoids both attacks.

Zale still has to get used to fighting on horseback. It's difficult to hit something while moving that fast.
Kriv however isn't bothered by that and pulverizes the last Hobgoblin.
