Eric also greets his friends "farewell my friends" he caresses the head of the tiny ones "may Moradin the wise watch over you, I hope we see each other again" then heads into the tunnel following the others.
Zale stares into the darkness, "Gah! I hate bein blin-- Oh. Hehe." She cuts herself off when Eric lights up Khessa's ring. Then she sidles up next to Khessa so she can gain the full advantage of that light.
"It's dark,"Calvin says. "These human eyes cannot see in this darkness. My senses are not good enough."
Calvin then takes the opportunity to summon the power of nature to turn into a giant lizard. Then pushes on, not waiting for the light from Khessa's ring.

Anator notices 10-ish Lizardfolk making their way toward the party. They see Anator but pay him no mind. Their own lights prevent them to see for beyond the circle of light, but Anator thinks they would notice you if had your own light. They also ignore Calvin if they encouter him.
'As always, your support is invaluable, dear brother of mine!' Khessa thanks Anator, and while he keeps an eye on the approaching Lizardfolk, she signals the party to stop.
"A dozen Lizardfolk are coming" the blonde arcane warrior murmurs to her companions. "With lights. Let's take position and hide our lights. When they are in sight, they will be in light, we will not. We will attack them by surprise, since we cannot avoid them. They must be allies of the Cult. We will try to kill them quickly".
Having murmured this, the tall adventurer quickly looks around, looking for a possible advantageous position in which the party can place themselves, then she momentarily hides the Lighted ring in her pocket.
(OOC: @DM: What size is the tunnel? Is there a bottleneck or a more sheltered position than the others, near us? Or to stop and wait to attack, in our vicinity, one place is as good as another?)
The tunnel widens from the entrance (and could narrow again at the end, but you don't know). The tunnel is artificial and there are no natural hiding places such as stalagmites and stalagtites. Since it appears to be manual work, the tunnel is not the same width everywhere. This varies from 10 to 15 feet.
Ok, Khessa chooses a place where the tunnel us 10' wide, to minimize the chance that the more numerous Lizardfolk swarm us.
(OOC: So 2 of us fighting side by side can block the path and spare the melee to those who prefer to range. Khessa can be 1 of the 2 melee or stay back and cast... as you all prefer.)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Well... the conditions would seem pretty in our favor to me, considering that we know they're coming - and they don't... and that they're in light, so we can see them from afar - and we're not... But if a roll is required anyway, here it is (also at Disadvantage, like Eric, because of heavy armor):
Kriv nods his head at his departing friends. “Stay safe. It’s been a pleasure.”
He heads into the tunnel, following Anator at a distance.
Eric also greets his friends "farewell my friends" he caresses the head of the tiny ones "may Moradin the wise watch over you, I hope we see each other again" then heads into the tunnel following the others.
After saying goodbye you enter the tunnel. It's dark and those without darkvision can't see a thing.
Anator can make a Perception check.

Anator's Perception: 16
Eric casts light cantrip on Khessa's ring.
OCC: I guess Eric is the only one having darkvision...

Roll for perception then! 😉

( Eric would stay in the frontline)
Kriv scoots up to the front of the group alongside Eric. “I do better up close.” As he summons his maul, frost begins reeling over his skin.
Cast Armor of Agathys.
Ok, With Eric and Kriv preferring to be fifirst-liners, Khessa keeps then herself in second line, behind Eric, ready to blast.
Ok, I need you all the make a Stealth check. To see if you get a surprise attack round.
