I'm looking for 6 level 9 adventures no background specification needed
you've been sent off by the wonderful king giganis the 18th aka the current king of the shining fields a large kingdom filled with farm lands he wants you to enter a local cave system and kill anything that moves
please give your class name background race and stats feel free to give backstory but don’t feel obligated to a essay this is a one shot after all
Alright, I'll go with point buy. Two other quick questions: (1) My character is a Pact of the Talisman warlock. Would you mind if he used his talisman as his spellcasting focus? (2) As level 9 characters, do we have any magic items or extra coin we've accumulated over the years?
NAME: Locke (aka Thaddeus Smith) STARTING STATS: STR 8, DEX 15, CON 12, INT 10, WIS 13, CHA 14 CURRENT STATS: STR 8, DEX 16, CON 12, INT 10, WIS 16, CHA 14 RACE: Variant Human (+1 DEX, +1 WIS, Feat: Fighting Initiate - Unarmed Fighting Style) CLASS: Shadow Monk 6 / Undead Warlock 3 (Pact of Talisman) BACKGROUND: Failed Merchant (Jeweler) ALIGNMENT: Lawful Neutral CHARACTER SHEET:https://ddb.ac/characters/82433969/aSa1lF BACKSTORY: Early on, Thaddeus knew what he wanted out of life... rather than to engage in the family business of locksmithing, he wanted the quiet, genteel life of a rich, cultured and highly successful jeweler. Unfortunately, his first foray into the industry didn't quite work out; but it was a learning experience that taught him that other avenues to his desires existed. Determined to succeed in this alternate fashion, Thaddeus--now Locke--first sought out a suitable patron willing to engage in a reasonable contract, then began honing his body and mind in preparation for his new role. Of course, he settled on adventuring as the ideal method of training and testing himself (ironic for a man interested in a long, quiet life,) and now finds himself going on a somewhat mundane mission to... clear out a cave system? Well, it's another stepping stone on the road, at least. PIC:
Hey Griffin - Sounds cools and rolling a gunslinger (CR).. Any guidance on Rod's question above, or in general perhaps (how many items from which magic tables for example)?
NAME: Cornelius Cormyr STARTING STATS:(point buy) STR 10, DEX 15, CON 15, INT 10, WIS 12, CHA 9 CURRENT STATS: STR 10, DEX 18, CON 16, INT 10, WIS 12, CHA 9 RACE: Variant Human (+1 DEX, +1 CON, Feat: Lucky "Only used to avoid gun breakage, never any other time - can change as desired") CLASS: Fighter 9 (Gunslinger) BACKGROUND: Charlatan (False Identity (will DM details)) ALIGNMENT: Chaotic Good CHARACTER SHEET:https://ddb.ac/characters/82443603/Wz4dCN BACKSTORY: My childhood was absolutely boring - my "parents", if you would call them that - much less concerned with their children.. I spent much of my time with my childhood friend, a gnome of the nearby tinkerers guild - they were much more fun. Where I got these babies (puts his hands on the hilts of his two pepperboxes slung to his torso and jiggles them slightly). My parents Manor was taken by another family, the Allencourt Family, and they were slaughtered. I have been traveling with groups of adventurers for the last 3 years, though I am sure you wouldn't have heard of any of our exploits - so I shall not bore you...
NAME: Bronze STARTING STATS:(point buy) STR 15, DEX 16, CON 14, INT 8, WIS 10 , CHA 10 CURRENT STATS: STR 16, DEX 16, CON 16, INT 8, WIS 10, CHA 10 RACE: Earth Genasi (STR +1, CON +2) CLASS: Barbarian 6 (Path of the Totem Warrior) / Fighter 3 (Battle Master) BACKGROUND: Gladiator ALIGNMENT: Chaotic Good CHARACTER SHEET:https://ddb.ac/characters/82686091/UZbQ8W BACKSTORY: In the arena Bronze was fighting for the victor was always decided before hand. It was more show then sport. Bronze was always the one to take the fall. He never had a chance at the prize money but he could still support his wife and daughter with the money that gave him to lose so it didn't matter. that was until his daughter, Delta fell ill. The only way to pay for the medicine to save her life was win and take the prize money. The masters of the arena didn't appreciate his little stunt they sent a group of thugs to mug Bronze on his way home. He managed to fight them off but by the time he reached his house all was that was left was ash and rubble. Bronze found his wife's charred remains but not his daughter's. Bronze now travels the world. Making money as an adventurer and a gladiator, but his goal was always the same. To find out what happened to his daughter.
Are you still looking for players? Is there a role or class from which the group would benefit? I could happily roll up anything. I've played AD&D for a long time but am new to 5e and brand new to play by post. I am a fast learner, and nothing gives me more enjoyment than contributing positively to the group.
Yes we still need a few a wonderful role would be a healer probably cleric though Druid isn’t bad either backstory has little to no limit check the interest thread in the first post of this thread for lord on this world as it is a home brew

Spell focus is great send what your thinking for the rest I’ll decide
I'm mainly just thinking that after 8 levels, and nearing the end of tier 2 play, he would have at least found:
* a +1 shortsword
* an uncommon side item (maybe a Bag of Holding, a Pearl of Power, a Dragonhide Belt or a
Belt of Giant Strength)* and the equivalent of +1 armor (for him as a monk, that would mean either a Ring of Protection, or Bracers of Defense)
Also, he'd realistically have at least 1k of gold accumulated (possibly spent on various things.)
