After imbuing the stones with glimmering starlight, Onika seizes the shadows cast by the stones and sends them to the male wolf. The Hex spell manifests around the wolf, granting it disadvantage on Strength ability checks.
She then throws one stone to strike the male wolf.

Lucian grows painfully aware that he and Nikolai seem to be setting the pack on edge. Swallowing, he grips the crossbow firmly and looks around for anywhere he can get an advantage. His first impulse is to climb the tree so that he would be out of reach from the wolves, but he has a feeling that he will want to be a bit more mobile.
Seeing Onika attack, he hesitates for a moment...unsure if that was supposed to happen... he hadn't heard a bird call from Pietrovich. He glances at Nikolai... "Did...you hear the signal? Should we just..." he was going to ask if they should just start attacking...but he has a feeling that he already knows the answer. Their cover is blown already, so it would be better not to hesitate. Still...it is difficult to decide which wolf to shoot at...perhaps the one that just nudged the pups into the den?
Lucian suddenly feels sick to his stomach. These wolves killed a child...sure that was their instinct, they were hunters. Yes, he knows that once the wolves find out that people are just as easy to catch as deer...and more abundant as well, they will keep taking children. Yet something within him doesn't want to kill these wolves. It is not a sense of kinship...though that is there as well, buried somewhere deep in the darkest pits of his being. Perhaps he wouldn't feel this way if there were no pups involved in this hunt...
Shaking his head, he readies the crossbow, releasing the safety latch like Nikolai showed him. Letting out a small breath, he takes aim at the she-wolf--fighting the urge to shut his eyes.
(OOC: I'll wait until I see what I got for initiative before making the attack to see if anything changes before his turn.)

Nothing else seems to be happening to change Chara's next action. So on her turn, Chara will cast Hex on the male wolf with her bonus action, followed by Eldritch Blast.

Unhappy that the market got rid of individual purchases for one-off subclasses, magic items, and monsters?
...and forgot the hex damage, but I'm not going to try editing that comment after what happened to the last one.
Hex: [roll]1d6[roll]
Of course you wrote the formula by hand (maybe on mobile) - the closing part must be [/roll], not [roll] for it to work
Noted. Please cut me a bit of slack, just dragged myself out of bed (I work third shift), usually I'm not this scatter-brained.
By no means scatter-brained! It is so easy to type something wrong when you are forced to edit formula by hand... (even worse when you are on mobile, your device deems itself smarter than you and starts correcting while you are writing...)
Eithne estimates the distance that separates her from the wolves... Maybe 60'! Since Chara has already taken steps to attack them from a distance, it makes no sense for her to try to throw a javelin; it would be a desperate shot. If the wolves can be pushed towards Pietrovich by ranged attacks, they will go towards him... if instead they come towards her and Chara, the savage stranger prepares to welcome them, greataxe already held in her hands.
(OOC: In game terms, Eithne stays under Chara in position, and takes the dodge action, while waiting for the wolves to move: attacks against her are made at disadvantage)

Nikolai Initiative 13
The sorceror closes his eyes briefly, and when he opens them again, they glow with silvery light, no irises or pupils visible. Stretching forth his hands he cries "Tocatta mortis"and a ghostly spectral hand appears beside the she wolf striking at her. - (chill touch)
Lenn loaded his lo noble, not really used to use that weapon in combat and waited for Pietrovich’s signal. Seeing that the alpha female starts to sense now hunters decided to take advantage of that and they move to fire upon the wolves.
It was then when he really noticed the puppies, making him hesitate for a moment but he remembered the little girl. If that pack were allowed to live they will repeat that easy kill more frequently. It was just a matter of survival. As it used to be in Barovia. He was an actual hunter, and he didn’t used to show mercy for his preys. Although he felt kind of bad for the wolves, on the contrary of his usual preys they weren’t evil.
No more time to deep thoughts. The fight has started and the sooner it was finished the better. He fired one arrow after another as fast as he could hoping they found its mark.
Sorry. I thought the next post would be this morning, but things didn’t turn out that way.
Noticing the wolves’ growing unease and suspicion as the other party members settle in their spots, Lenn decides it would be best to strike while they still have the element of surprise. He fires an arrow at the wolf that shooed the pups into the den. His aim proves true, driving the arrow into the beast’s flank. Onika, following Lenn’s lead, throws a magic stone at the male wolf. It misses, but the wolf is enveloped in a dark, mystical force. A second later, it is gone, leaving the wolf looking visibly weaker.
Lucian, surprised by the attacks as well, chooses to fire his crossbow at the she-wolf that Lenn had struck. Unfortunately, it missed the wolf and flew off into the surrounding undergrowth.
At this stage, the wolves begin to growl and pace. The male, looking to protect the females, dashes toward the origin of Lenn’s and Onika’s projectiles.
Nikolai gestures and a spectral hand appears by the already wounded she-wolf, raking its claws along her maw. Just after, Lenn’s second arrow finds its way home, slicing through the creature’s rib cage and sinking into its heart. It falls, quiet and still.
One of the remaining she-wolves dashes around the den and reaches melee range for Lucían, but does not bite him. The other she-wolf charges straight at Nikolai, stopping within 5 ft. of her pack mate. She bites at Nikolai, doing 6 points of damage and dragging him to the ground.
Chara flies after the male wolf and sends a blast of eldritch energy after the beast, striking it between its shoulders. Again, the wolf is surrounded by a black, malevolent force and this time it is left shuddering in pain when the force dissipates.
'Well...' thinks Eithne 'one wolf against three of us there... And two wolves agsinst two of us there. No wolf came for Chara or me. Let's help the two!'
The savage stranger runs, grestaxe ready, trying to join the fray Lucian and Nikolai are into.
(OOC: taking the dash action - only double movement this round - I don't think I'll come in melee range yet though)

Chara jumps into the air, slightly dismayed that the wolves seem to sense something is up. But she's still determined to do this for the child's sake.
She's going to fly up about 20 feet ro be well out of melee range. (OOC I'll decide what other actions to take after the Initiative reesult).

Onika peers out from behind the rock they’d tried to hide behind. She throws the second of her three stones directly at the incoming male wolf’s head.
Attack: 13 Damage: 7
She then breaks off the trio and to the boulder down and to the left of them, hoping to get in a position to surround the wolf when it nears.

(May Nikolai use his reaction to cast shield?)
If not, then STR save 12
(Unfortunately, the wolf rolled high enough that shield wouldn’t matter; you are knocked prone).
