"Aye, well met Tarak. Above the mountains they call me Thulewyn. Ye be right about us and the shipwreck and we don't like be under prepared, so if you or compadres have any words of the wise or aid to spare for we know not what we will find." Scratching his chin he looks as though he is just inspecting the man for the first time. "If I may be so bold, would you be in charge of the mechanical hut i saw outside?"
Tarak scratches at his beard. "We've got a small boat we use to get around the island. You are free to take that to the shipwreck. It's tied at the same dock you arrived at. As far as the winch house goes, I don't have anything to do with it. That's more Varnoth's area of expertise than mine." He nods toward the human woman.
"I grow vegetables and herbs for the cloister," he says, with a touch of pride in his voice. "Matter of fact, I may have a job for you if you're interested, once you're back from the shipwreck that is."
Orissa looks up from her meal, gives the man a sly smile and looks back down, finishing up her meal before sliding the plate to the middle. At the mention of Dragonborn her eyes dart to Morseth."Just because I'm red do...."She stops when she realizes it's not her they are talking about."Oh... Right, yeah.... Are we going to be okay? The boat isn't going to sink will it? I'm not the greatest swimmer."Orissa is less concerned about swimming, and more being able to leave with treasure if they find it.

Well, I could row the boat for 1 person at a time, back and forth, until we all get to the wreck! How's that sound?
Oh? A job for when we return? Of course, I'd be willing to help! I can't say the same for the rest of my new friends here, but I'd gladly help :D
"Aye I'm sure the boat will suffice, we may need to be a little creative in its utilization.
I'm hoping someone is about who saw what happened, short of someone seeing the event or its aftermath, how else would you know of its occurrence. Details they could provide could prove to be very useful. Like if there is a way to access the ship, or any of it above the water. I much prefer diving into the remains without actual diving.
Maybe Varnoth has a trick or two up her sleeve to how to get down to the remains, or better yet, bring the remains up to us?"
"Aye, it may be a tight fit for the lot of you," Tarak agrees, looking over the party. "Like the little one there says, you may have to make two trips. But the boat won't sink, not with Varnoth the one who maintains her."
At Thulewyn's question, Tarak calls over to the human woman. "Varnoth! Come here for a minute, will you? Tell them about the shipwreck."
Varnoth gets up, and her prosthesis makes a notable clunking sound as she approaches. "Quit your hollerin', old man. I'm right here," she says. "Aye, I saw the ship crash into the shoals. A strange thing it was too. Out of nowhere it seemed to change course directly for the island, as if intending to crash. Most of the wreck is above water though, from what I could tell."
(While Tarak is talking, Tihli perks up as his mention of his plan)
Oh, Hello there Varnoth, I'm Tihli! Nice to meet you! You said that they seemed to intend to crash on the island? Did anyone survive? If so, are anyone from those ships who live on the Island now?
Seeker comes over after putting his bowl into the cleaning trough, sipping another tankard of ale. "That sounds like a good idea, especially with most of the ship above the water. Let's go."
"Tihli here makes a good point, what did happen to the crew of that ship, or is our little outing going to determine that?" Thulewyn scratches his beard and thinks fir a sec.
"How's the best way to get this boat to the wreck? Sail around the island or is going to be man power till we reach the shore?"
Varnoth shakes her head at the kobold. "It didn't look like anyone survived. It's why we haven't checked it out sooner."
In response to Thulewyn, Varnoth says, "I believe those undead sailors you encountered on the beach were from the wreck. So I'd keep that in mind when you enter it. There could be more. Something could've happened to the whole crew."
Tarak pipes in with, "Probably sailing will be your best bet. It's run aground on the rocky shoals, and if you don't take the boat you'd likely have to swim part of the way."
Abaddon shrugs. "That ride here wasn't... great. For the first part, it felt like my scales were falling off."

The middle-aged human man appears to hear you all talking about heading to the shipwreck, and he moves to sit down next to you at the table.
"Looking into the shipwreck for Lady Runara?" he says. "That's mighty kind of you. Name's Tarak by the way. Welcome to Dragon's Rest."

Morseth looks concerned.
"You say a small boat? Will it fit us all? One of us may be a kobold, but three are Dragonborn. We are not small or light."

"Oh... well... we should probably use the boat then."
"Where can we find this boat? Sounds like that's the last piece of the planning puzzle"
"They mentioned that the boat is at the same docks we came to the island at."
"Aye, then the puzzling be done." Turning towards the rest of the party. "What say you, time to set sail?"
Orissa looks to the others before looking towards the exit of the room. "I don't have my bathing suit, but I'm as ready as I'll ever be I suppose."
