Jetsam meets the other for adventurers-Tommy, Hadrian, Capt. Sask and Kulibak- at the city gates and goes back over the mission details. “A wizard, Kaladin Salazar is trapped in the top of his tower by monsters from the abyss. He’s sent for adventurers to come rescue him.” He points to the location an a map. “The tower, Arcane Edge, is only located a few miles from here. Everyone got everything they need?”

Hadrian brings the rear as Jetsam takes the point. He checks that his pack is tightly bound and looked to his belt pouches. He brought out sheepskin parchment and used an inked needle to tattoo the map onto the parchment. He then answers Jetsam.
"mmm... I am good Jetsam, I will keep the rear, I assume our marching order is alright for the rest of the party?"
"I have not met everyone here before have I? Hadrian. orc fighter. No, don't raise your weapons, not that type of orc."
Sask nods Jetsam, "It was a good trip I believe. I wonder if there are any more details on the tower or what we might encounter once there? Hail Friend Kulibak."
"I think you can tell I can fight pretty well. What about you folk. Might be best to know how we each fight for tactics and strategy."
I gots a pretty solid walking stick, aye, and I swing a pretty mean axe, to be sure. Kulibak motions to his quarter staff and hand axe. And if push comes to shove I can always rely on me pearly whites! he finishes off with a big toothy grin. Shall we go?
"Nice to meet you Kulibak and Sask. Once again, Hadrian. I use Axe and Shield to take control of the front lines... well, I wouldn't be the first to the front lines today but I will protect our rear."
After a couple hours of walking, we come to a clearing with a stone tower in it. It’s five stories high, and the four upper floors have stained glass windows looking outwards. It’s not square or round, but kind of a funny shape with a wide part on one side and then it narrows down and takes a turn. The wide part is about 25 ft long and 20 ft wide, narrowing to a point at the ends. Out of one side a section about 20 by 20 ft comes out and then turns, into a sort of a stairwell looking spot.
Theres a heavy oaken door reinforced by iron bands and decorated by arcane sigils by one end of the wide part, and there’s no hails or signs of knowledge that adventurers have arrived.
Jetsam shrugs and turns to the others. “Go in through the door, I guess?” If no one protests, he’ll head to the door and knock on it.

Since there’s no objection, Jetsam knocks. As he does, the door opens and behind it stands a ettercap clothed in a top hat and tuxedo who introduces himself as Jeeves. “Welcome, welcome. I presume you’re here to rescue the master?”
behind him, you can see the room is kind of an entry hall. There’s hooks on the wall for coats and robes, a bearskin rug, cushioned chairs and a couch, and a table. There’s also a large portrait of a high elf wizard and beside it, the three stuffed heads of a chimera.
“Walk on in. How may I help you?”
”You’re correct, we’re here to rescue Kaladin.” Jetsam steps inside and that’s when the problem occurs.
a large spiderWeb erupts from a glyph on the floor, entangling Jetsam. Three phase spiders blip into existence and attack him!
Attack: 9 Damage: 10 and if a hit, jetsam must make a dc 11 con save or take 19 poison damage-half on a success.
Attack: 16 Damage: 9 and if a hit, jetsam must make a dc 11 con save or take 19 poison damage-half on a success.
Attack: 19 Damage: 9 and if a hit, jetsam must make a dc 11 con save or take 14 poison damage-half on a success.

...if Kulibak side steps the webs he will help Jetsam untangle himself (advantage to Jetsam on his STR save), else Kulibak will attempt his own STR save...
Since Capt. Sask is up front...If the phase spiders are within 10 ft of him, he gets to attack any that, are, I think. Pole Arm master. If not no worries..Just FYI.
