"And now we need to got through the gate. It is no problem for me, but I am not sure about the rest of you? This may help."
Pavla thumps their quarterstaff softly against the ground. You hear a soft whooshing sound for just a moment, and the shadows around you...deepen, somehow.
"See you on the other side of the gate, or maybe not," Pavla says, as the young human's form seems to crumple, shrinking into a small grey cat, then scurrying towards and through the gate as stealthily as possible.
Stealth: 17
Everyone except for Onyx has a +10 bonus to Dexterity (Stealth) checks and can't be tracked except by magical means. A creature that receives this bonus leaves behind no tracks or other traces of its passage. This bonus will last for 1 hour, or until Pavla loses their concentration.
”Meet me 200 yards down the path,” I say to Holissa and Pavla. I reach out touching the aasimir. I cast invisibility on Holissa. “As for me, I’m flying out of here.” Using my cloak of the bat I polymorph into a bat and head up into the sky. I follow the cat as he heads out the gate from high up.

( It needs materials for that spell and you don't have that material yet. So its a no go. The cat thing is okay but does bring your roll down to a 7 )
As you try to weave through the crowd, a little human girl picks you up, "Kitty!", she says as she starts to pet you. The guards don't pay much attention to you as the girl carries you out of the city, stroking your head. You can struggle your way out anytime, as the girl just gives you a free ride out of the city.

You fly up into the sky and spot the familiar cat being carried. You fly up above and and glide on the winds, following the cat and the girl.
Well this is useful she says to herself. She walks out the gate, confident in her invisiblility but taking great care not to jostle anyone and to make sure no one runs into her and heads towards the meeting place.
Before you could offer them the gold, they're already scared and yelling for help. You see a few guards ahead of you start to close in as well. You pocket back your coins as you're now on top of the cart, having 5 guards come to you. They're only ten feet away from reaching you. You hear a swing of a door as a tabaxi comes out of the building nearby, yelling, "Get off my cart!". He climbs onto the cart and tries to wrestle you off, yelling some curses at you. ( Roll with either Acrobatics or Athletics. )
( For more info: You're in a passenger carriage, drawn by two horses. The guards originally chasing are 10 feet away, the new guards are 15 and 20. There are 6 passengers in the cart and you stand among them with the man trying to wrestle you.)
Acrobatics: 9

Within the shadows, Moe uses his hat of disguise to change his appearance slightly. He maintains the same face but now appears to be a little less "greasy" and to be a more productive member of society - taking on the appearance of a cook. He gives the guards a smile and nod as he makes his way out the gate.
Thinking that walking through the gates would be too conspicuous with his chainmail, Hardal follows the walls until he finds a place where he thinks the guards can't notice him.
He then casts a spell to himself and runs for a few feet before jumping up the walls towards outside Cresthall.

You manage to wrestle yourself free from the tabaxi, letting him fall back onto the streets. The people around you have made circle of space around you, watching your moves and getting to a safer place. The guards are starting to break into the circle and are about to move in on to the cart.
( Honestly heart of darkness is a bit too open minded for me. So I'll specify it as a power you can use, 3 times a day to balance it out. This time is free. )
As the guards start to list your crimes to you, you see a small child throw a rock at the guard. Then another, and another, until most of the crowd around is throwing pebbles, trash, etc. at the guards. They start to come in and swarm the guards. The foreigners are still scared in the cart as they're not from here.

I'll run for it, down an alley and find a place to hide out. Wanting to go north but will take any route that's available. Once in a safe spot I'll pull the kill note from my pocket and re read it. "South gate!" Ahh you stupid idiot he thinks to him self. Face palming as this whole situation could have been avoided.

You manage to get yourself away from there as the crowd of peasants swarmed the guards. You can hear in the distance a horn, calling for more guards over there. Disregarding that, you look around to see which way is south. ( Roll for Perception and stealth, you still have adv on stealth (Cloak). )
You look around, seeing the sails in the distance, you note that north is that way of the docks. So you turn around and head in the opposite direction, making your way around the commoners and guards. (Will take an hour to get there.)

Pavla purrs, apparently content in the child's arms, but wriggles free once out of the city gates, bounding away.
And that's all I have to say about that.

You walk on past the guards. They paid you no attention as you passed by, except a raise of a brow.
You bounce up into the air, clearing over the wall with ease as you brace yourself for the hard landing. ( 2 of damage )

Hardal dusts off his armor after clearing the wall and approaches those that made it out before him, far enough from the guard's inspecting eyes.
"It seems all of us made it out without alerting the guards."
He looks around and sees the person that went ahead wasn't around to meet them.
"Let us continue down the Amber Road and find a suitable place to make an ambush while the sun is still here."
