This time he was prepared to protect his eyes from the ash dusting off the battered zombie. His face reveals the glee of a work well done and he begins to walk briskly towards the spined devil and skeleton archer. "Now, you two!" Trystane yells and launches an eldritch missile at the Spined Devil.

Trystane moves, hurling an Eldritch Blast as he goes, striking the spined devil as it takes off, trying to get some distance from the Doom Slayer now that it sees that it is in fact its turn on the literal chopping block. The devil retaliates, throwing spines and hitting nothing but air while the archer skeleton itself begins to move. Arrows whiz uselessly.
The zombie stumbles down the hill, trying to close the distance...

As the devil turns away to flee half heartedly, Trystane's grin grows wider. His gait pivots into the new direction to catch the devil and he closes the distance quickly. With the greatsword laid back on his shoulder during the move, then when stopping in range, he uses its momentum to swing it across the devil's mid section.

He barely managed to release his glyph's magic to absorb the blow (1 point absorbed) but it bites into his shoulder pads (absorbing 3 points) and continues to drive through his iced skin (5 temporary HP), leaving nothing but a scratch. Though, the effort nearly cost him his protective spell (Concentration save 15/DC 10). Trudging though the terrain that seem to be opposing him now, too, he works his way towards the archer releasing a barrage of eldritch missiles to mark his coming!
