I do not think we can. And secondly, I doubt we will be able to find proper allies outside of the town we already found. Shigh possibly knows about us already, if not before then definitely now. Perhaps someone could come up with a better idea, I don't think we really have any option other than the head-on approach at this point."

He's got medium length brown hair with an auburn-colored bandana that keeps his hair out his face. His tanned skin is lightened up by his hazel eyes. He's currently dressed in roguish leathers, but also has a long, light brown trench coat that lands right before his feet hit the ground, ensuring he doesn't trip on it. Anyone who spots him from a distance could see him smirking and shaking his head as the woman next to him continues to talk...
At the mention of this group being the group, he just shakes his head and lowers his head, snapping the reigns to slow them down a bit. "You kidding? You were wrong with the last group... And the group before them... And the group before them... What makes you think that THIS is the group this time?"
"How does everyone think we proceed forward? I'm not sure how much a scout or traveling in the woods will do us at this point other then leaving some open to getting into trouble without the rest of us. Plus we were warned to work together no matter what, whatever that was supposed to warn us of." Xondario says as he continues to walk. Spotting the cart and watching its riders. Sparked by curiosity he slows his pace and watches the cart draw near. "Well not the sort of resistance I was expecting to come accrossed..." Xondario guessed they weren't looking to fight, so he simply stands off to the side letting others do their magic with word.
"Finally!" Taxidea exclaims. "Someone I can talk to without getting a cramp in my neck! Greetings fellow haflings! I can assure you that we most likely ARE whatever group you're seeking, simply because EVERYBODY in these woods seems to be seeking us - for better or worse. And since you are neither composed of living flames nor aiming a bow in my direction, I assume that you're of the friendly sort. I'm Taxidea Taxus, but my friends call me Badger - and this is my band of merry travelers." In a loud whisper he adds "spoiler alert: some of them aren't all that merry!" He continues in his normal tone, "The tall one with the horns is Armeros, the tall one with the rattle is Jasmine, the tall one with the hat is Flynt - notice a theme here? The tall one with the maul is Xondario and the tall one with the heavy armor is Jason. So who might you be and why might you be seeking us?"

"Hi" she says while waving. Turning to Rikas and slapping his shoulder (gently) she says "See! I told you so." Under her breath she adds "Had to be right one of these times."
"I'm Xini and this Rikas. We were sent to find you guys and help out. Anddddddd. I've got presents for each of you." She says with a beaming smile.
Rikas narrows his eyes and looks to the group. He then pulls out a piece of parchment with the names. He looks them over again, and looks to the group, going one by one down the list. "I suppose these are the guys..." In a much less chipper tone, Rikas adds on. "Help out is a strong word. We were just sent to give you some shit..."
Rikas looks to the back of the cart where the bag of stuff is. He then hops over the seat of the cart and into the back, where he opens the bag. He then begins to ask each person to step forward, clarify their names, and he begins to hand them the things they were given.

Jasmine gets a Shield+1 and Plate Mail.
Flynt gets a Weapon of Warning and +1 Armour.
Armeros gets a hellfire weapon, (longsword) and a Armour of Wightlessness (half plate).
If something simply says 'weapon' you can apply it to any weapon you already have. Notice some got more than others. If that bugs you, PLEASE PM. I pretty much just gave everyone what they asked for.
Armeros can't hide his delight as the pair of halflings hand him his gifts. "Ah, this will send our enemies straight to the Styx. So efficient," he murmurs excitedly as he admires the sword's infernal craftsmanship before proudly equipping it. "And this will do until I can get my wings b--I mean, it will do, yes." His smirk falters for just a moment as he switches out his armor.
Taxidea jerks his thumb at Xondario. "You'll have to talk loudly to that one - apparently he's got a little wax buildup in his ears." Then he examines the wand with grin. "Oh ho ho ho! YES! Thank you! I pity the next group of bow-wielding fools that tries to take ME prisoner. This hafling will be bringing the PAIN!"

Rikas finishes up handing out items then immeditaely turns to the bag, talking out loud. "Yeah yeah... Where is our stuff. That dude better not have duped us... I was already tricked once." He then digs into the bags and crates for remaining stuff.
"Viol? You play too, Xini?" Armeros gives a smile, pulling out his own well-maintained viol. "Perhaps you can join our band. What do you think, Badger?"
Xondario takes the maul and lifts it up, looks at the red crack lines in the head of it, like it just came out of the forge and the outside started to cool and flanking with the red hot metal underneath. "Well I have a perfectly good hammer, not sure what to do with 2." Looking over and the shiny sets of players armor some of the others got. "Don't suppose they they had any of that in my size? Oh well, let's see what this this to do. With that stuff on, maybe you should be in front of me!"

As you continue on toward the tower, you travel unhindered for several hours before seeing a small cart approaching from the opposite direction.
You see two figures riding in the cart. You can hear the girl talking a ways away (usually about much of nothing)
